You know I have never done been keeping but grow tons of flowers and pollination plants but watching your videos has encouraged me to do this one day if I can afford some more land. Thank you for your videos.

Nice footage, especially of the one flowframe that you took out to demonstrate how the cells shift and break the wax seals. Especially to see the effect of when cells are not fully capped.
    Goed gedaan jochie !

Thanks, Rickey. :) We modelled it to a Dadant, which is most used here in France.

    Thanks for a lovely video.
Did you notice the different colours from different frames? I have one of the originals & it always amazes me the differences & slight taste differences.

      Thank you for the compliment!
That does happen, yes. The bees must have been harvesting different flowers over the time it takes to fill out all the flow frames. :)

@@campinglachassagne8339 It's one of the amazing things I've found that each fram can be different. That's not usually what you get when you harvest from traditional frames when you spin them. Hope you have a good year ahead.

@@gervaseevans4856 - Basically, one flow frame equals two medium traditional honey frames. I have 6 flow frames per super, so that comes down to 12 medium frames. It takes some time for that to be filled up. During that time, the bees sample from various nectar sources. It makes for very good honey! :D
A great bee-year to you, too!
(I've put out several bait-hives, this year. A bit early, but I'm looking forward to see if I can catch any colonies this way).

Here is a video of ours in which we compare harvesting with flow frames with harvesting in the traditional way: th-cam.com/video/KGEUAp8rDUY/w-d-xo.html :)
