I have been doing my own mechanic work on our 4 for 13 years. It has been a constant education in repair and diagnostics. I recently came across your videos and must tell you that your presentations and professionalism are tops. Most of us will be lucky to approximate your skills, patience, honesty and level of perfection given to each of your projects. I especially appreciate your step by step processes that feature the speed ups and still important pauses for explanations. Even though I have had similar problems, you don't skim over the critical aspects that I may have missed; so I learn. Thanks and I will catch up on your older videos too.
Hi Nice video, It is very clearly explained and educational 👍🏻🛠for youngsters who might try to do this kind of maintenance by themselves🛠🍀. Of course, I left an abo, Greetings. Hubertus🙏🏻☮🇳🇴🇳🇱
@@the_Wagen Compare a vanagon case to a type 1 case. Look for photos of the inside the case around the front/rear main seals. I can't post links. youtube will delete them.

I appreciate your kind words, and your support. 👊🏽 Trying to make videos DIY’ers can use to do projects.
Love to see more beatle stuff as well ..
Currently buses occupy the shop, but bug stuff coming soon.
That was a good one. I like the music in it.
I need our old instrumental track for my videos. 👊🏽
Nice one 👍
Great vid! 🤙🏽
Sick as usual!

Type 1 vw cases need to be modified like vw did, with the vanagon engine cases to avoid oil leaks.
Not familiar with the Vanagon mod? Elaborate.

Can you do a video on how to degree a camshaft? There only one video available on TH-cam, but the camera work is blurring.
I don’t build many engines. I’ve been talking to a local builder ( Dam Volks) to possibly do a motor build collaboration.
@@the_Wagen Cool. Keep us posted on when the video will be available.
Great Video! I'm in the middle of doing a IRS in a split bus myself. What shocks are you running ?
Fox ridetech. They were shocks I had for a while. I’d get a longer Bilstein if I were to redo it.
What brand are those pushrod tubes and how you like them?
Jaycee. I like em. 2nd set I’ve had on this motor. Only changed the first for a color change. 👍🏽
What the difference from a bus to van besides the seat new to the channel, thanks
I’ve always considered Buses a VW label. Vans are made by Ford ,Chevy ,and Dodge.
Gotcha now I know
