Nice video mate! Darn, u slept thru the Polaris mid-flight snacks, their grilled cheese and tomato soup was the bomb! I had an extra serving of ice cream sundae. On some flights, the FAs would have freshly baked chocolate chip cookies to go w our sundaes.
Just a little FYI, the linked website you mention in the beginning of the video is NOT a website of United Airlines. The following description is from the website you linked. "This site was created and is maintained by enthusiasts of UNITED AIRLINES and provides only publicly available information. It is not sponsored or supported by UNITED AIRLINES INC or UNITED CONTINENTAL HOLDINGS in anyway."
This was an excellent review. I particularly enjoyed the narration. At the beginning you said, "United's Polaris is one of the very best business class products in the United States." You also said that you have never flown in a lie-flat seat before. So how do you know that Polaris is one of the very best business class products in the United States?? I have flown 3.7 million miles on United, and I don't think they are one of the best business class products in the United States. These meals look horrible by international business class standards, and I was a little surprised to hear your overly effusive remarks about them. How do they justify serving the main meal on a single tray on a 14-hour flight? I'm glad you enjoyed this flight, though you seem pretty easy to please. Happy to subscribe to your channel.
Haha yup, I'd consider myself pretty easy to please. My general sentiment was that there really wasn't anything more I could have needed, comfort-wise or food-wise. I certainly understand (from watching plenty of videos of other airlines) that better service exists elsewhere. And I certainly hope to try that one day. But I was very satisfied with this flight. Appreciate the kind words and the subscription!
For the price, I find Polaris lacking honestly. Obviously it's miles better than premium plus, but its just not competitive to other airlines that charge the same price. As far as US airlines go, I guess they are #2 behind Delta One but worldwide not even top 15.
Well done, video and I am happy you enjoyed the long trip. But I cannot agree with your conclusion that Polaris is state-of-the-art. It is really not, not even by US standards. And I am also willingfully excluding any product from the Middle Eastern bling bling glitzi glitzi airlines.
Thanks for the comment! As I have never flown any premium product at all over more than a few hours, everything about this was so cool to me so I didn't have a ton to compare it with. I certainly didn't feel like I needed more after this flight. But I know some products out there absolutely blow away the passenger experience and I can't wait to try some.
@@FredwardFlies Happy for you. Safe journey and interesting experiences and the resources to taste many more cabin products. The only downside: It is hard to go back to eco...
We're taking this flight in Oct. Thanks for letting us know what to look forward to!
Thank you for sharing your trip.😊

I’d rather sleep than eat that junk food.
How much is the economy parking? We usually park at the parking lot in front of the airport and cost
If I remember correctly those four days were about $70
