CSX Santa Train Full Chase! Shelby, KY to Kingsport, TN!

This video is about the 82nd annual Csx Clinchfield Santa train that leaves Shelby, KY to Kingsport, TN with other stops in Kentucky and Virginia. Out of the fourteen stops by the Santa train I was only able to go to nine stops. I had to skip catching the Santa train at Marrowbone, KY because I did not get there in time just as I role In, the Santa train came. My other location I missed is Dungannon, VA. I missed this location because on the drive there I had no internet or self service connected on my phone. And therefore could not go there. The same could be said for Kermit, VA & Waycross, VA.

0:28 I didn’t film the whole train because I was told he was on the side facing the yard but that tuned out to be not true. A mixed fright train was blocking the way so I didn’t stay after that

It was appropriate for the Clinchfield heritage unit to lead the train because from Elkhorn City, KY onward to Kingsport, TN, the tracks are the former Clinchfield Railroad mainline
