You’re right. There are more Facebook posts from there for the last 2 months of people smashing them at the dam and boulders. This video will not do any harm to anyone especially now that the cold weather has arrived. Don’t see many guys bush whacking down to that spot anyway.@@SamJonesOutdoors
Hey Tuesday you gave my ten year old son a sticker … he showed me and said it was form willsworldoutdoors and I said I watch him on TH-cam and he got so excited !! Thank you for that !! Great videos and don’t let people on here bring you down there are plenty of fish for everyone
With the low water and gin clear conditions upstream, a bunch are sitting down in the frog water waiting for the water to come up. Good day of fishing down there. Nice catches.
I rig similar to your dad, but I don’t use any small shot at all, I bulk shot on the main line directly above the swivel, then run a 2 1/2’-3’ leader directly to the jig, and I use a 1/32 3x jig.
Guess what....after videos like this you will not have it to yourself. Not sure why folks feel they have to broadcast everything and then wonder why places are so crowded.
Started fishing steelhead this year and see everyone acting like this. Selfishness at it’s core considering like others have said most people fishing for browns, steelies know these spots already lol. Take your worries to something that matters in life
Yes, everyone is gonna grab their canoes, kayaks and other small boats and drive a hundred miles to fish in a known location, instead of just fishing close to home.
@ yes I kno they do I’ve never seen anyone use the removable gremlins Personally I don’t think you’ll get a smoother drift with those especially with the wings on it but hey if it works for u 👍🏽
I've cruised up and down 18-mile on my Saturn FCB-290 fishing raft which has an electric trolling motor mounted on the transom. Problem is parts of that creek are only inches deep, not far from the mouth. I had to pull the motor and use oars to navigate toward Burt dam. From the pier down to the dam is only about 1.5 miles, but a royal pain to navigate by small boat/raft. There are a few other tribs off of Ontario that are even more productive for browns...here's a video I shot on another Ontario trib last weekend...we landed 20 browns out of nearly 30 hooked. th-cam.com/video/_AIWTZdRFqg/w-d-xo.html - we could see them come out from hiding and hit our beads right in front of us - th-cam.com/users/shortsI1gCVSjKfH8?feature=share
Gonna attract the crowds down there now after this vid 🤣🤣🤣
The crowds been there for weeks…. I went a month ago, the guy running the lot said he had checked in 200 trucks by 9am… this was on a Friday.

That sounds like a great rig as well.
Nice morning of fishing down there in the frog water 👍👍
It’s a lot of fun fishing, not so much getting there and back.

Have you been to Burt lately? The place is shot lmao. There’s no “blowing up” that spot.
Do you realize your talking about burt dam😂🤣
Awesome Videos! What brand are Your inflatable boats and where did You buy them?
They are Colorado boats. You can find them online for a range of prices..
Is it an ice fishing jig?
Similar but they are actually steelhead jigs. You need the stronger hook to handle the trout. Check out Jammin Jigs.
Are those removable spilt shots u got on with the wings?!
I’ve never ever seen that before lol
Yes, water gremlin make removable shot. That’s what we use.
@ yes I kno they do I’ve never seen anyone use the removable gremlins

@siguy9693 agreed. Clearly still works but would spin the line you'd think.
