    I'm with you 😊! Fishing spinning rods and casting is so much better than trolling, especially for smaller fish!! After all the fight is the best 💪 part!! Nice fish 😄🐟!!

    Great Video 👍. Do you make a river casting rod say 8 foot 6 even a prototype I could put to the test up here for you with video? I used a croix avid but they stopped making the model , used for fishing giant Steelhead /salmon in St Mary’s River very soon 🇨🇦🎣

    Bought a Fortis 190 on sale this past winter, and recycled my cheap non-eco net.
    Also bought a Frabill floating wade/trout net for the canoe....

    Hey Eric I just Moved From the coast of North Carolina to Wisconsin last year and I was wondering if you had any recommendations for catching Browns and Coho within like 45 miles of Green Bay?

    Fished Racine recently and was going to investigate the Oak Creek power plant, but never did. Is there a place close to it where one could slip a kayak in and make a short pilgrimage to the plant?

    If only our ice would go away. Can't launch in either of our marinas yet. Both the power plants in town have also closed which has changed up the spring fishing big time.

    Caught tons of small coho salmon last weekend at port Washington using night crawlers surprisingly but they were only 10-11 inches 😂 this weekend I think I will use spawn there to try and catch a few bigger ones. And my favorite fish to eat out of the Great Lakes is steelhead.

    How long do the cohos hang around these areas in the spring? We’re so busy this time of year planting Christmas trees in Ohio, but would love to get onto some of this action with my wife when things slow down for us (middle of June). Are they still around at that time? Or have they moved out to bigger water? Love the videos and the personality you bring. Have been subscribed since you started filming! Tight lines!

    @5:18 Your 1st fish, that is 100% a Coho/Chinook hybrid, a Cohnook!
    Look at the spots on his back, and especially the spots on THE BOTTOM of it's tail. Tellin' ya, that fish is a Coho with a healthy dose of Chinook genes.
    Lake Ontario where I started fishing salmon, you hardly see any. In Wisconsin, especially natural runs up on Superior tribs, caught more Cohnooks than you'd see in a lifetime in any other state.

    Can't believe they let you close to the power plant. We had an old coal burning plant on the Niagara River. I've been escorted away from it and told I couldn't be within 200 ft of it. It's all closed up now but had the warm water discharge and always had fish around.

    I actually like brown trout better than all other trout. I caught a 23", and a 19" in the pine river from My kayak.With a pink rainbow trout blue fox spinner #3 . I cure them though overnight in apple cider vinegar, lemon juice, and sea salt in water in the fridge. I then candied them after rinsing well , in Raw sugar, sea salt and cayenne pepper, in the fridge covered with the sugar, and salt. pepper mixture, dry no water this time. This drys the fish, and pulls all fish taste out. Then I roast them with sweet onions, garlic, and gypsy, or banana peppers, and strips of carrot. Brown trout this way, or barbecued are delicious. I may do a catch and cook on My show. Exodus Survival. You do good work, . There is fishing lakes on the first level of heaven, and boats that move by Your thoughts alone. Jesus loves fishing, so did most of The Twelve, it's how They made their living You do good work, thanks, blessings, and respect.......Seven Thunders.///////
