    Wish I had the skill, time, and energy to do this. Great job! 🤙🏽

    How does this generation compare to the new generation 350 exc-f?. There are a couple low mileage ones in my state (2013 and 2015) for sale.

      @KincadePavich Hey man, I've been watching your videos a lot, and I just purchased my first home in Washington dc. What tools would you recommend that are a must have for a home garage? The rabaconda is the biggest one you boast about!

    Great video! What manual are you using in the video?

    • @KincadePavich
      @KincadePavich  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I have a complete service manual for this bike as well as the general owner's manual and a parts diagram. I believe I just found them online and had them printed/bound at a local shop.

      @@KincadePavich could you post the link of where you found them? Also how are the valves on these bikes? Great rebuild btw.

    • @KincadePavich
      @KincadePavich  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ericbulic8589 I'll see if I can track them down once I'm at a computer later. As for the valves they're the only thing I didn't replace in the top end in this rebuild, they rarely needed adjustment. With 160 hours on the meter (and no idea if the meter was installed when the bike was new or not) it ended up being time to replace valves.

      @@KincadePavich thanks man, I just picked a 13’ 350 xcf and was wondering if there is anything to keep an eye for. I am going to put a dirt tricks cam chain tensioner in

      @@ericbulic8589 awesome dude. I loved this bike, sold it a couple months ago after putting a ton of time on it. Really had no big issues and just gave it general maintenance till this rebuild. Would definitely recommend the dirt tricks tensioner. Bleeding the clutch every 30 or so hours goes a long way for performance too. Probably my favorite bike I've owned so far.

    u sure this is 2013? plastics are from 2014-2015 model. or do they fit 2013?

    • @KincadePavich
      @KincadePavich  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      They fit a 2013. When I bought this bike it had a broken shroud, and I learned the only difference is the angle of the airbox plastics. The entire 14-15 kit bolts right up, but you can't use just one piece due to that difference.

    • @50jem

      @@KincadePavich Oh really! Didnt know that. Thanks for the info.

    • @50jem
      @50jem 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@KincadePavich Im in the market for new plastics for my -13 ktm. So, just to be clear: 14-15 kit fits perfectly with 13 airbox plastic? and which airbox side panels should i use then from model 13 or 14-15? (the little ones on both sides, other one is for airfilter)

    • @KincadePavich
      @KincadePavich  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@50jem if you go 14-15 shrouds, you need 14-15 airbox panels as well. All they did was change the angle of how the plastics line up. So 13 airbox panels will not work with 14-15 shrouds.

    • @KincadePavich
      @KincadePavich  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@50jem but the airbox itself/side number plate piece does not need to be changed to be clear. Just the small bolt on panels

    how much did you pay for parts (engine only pls ;))

    • @KincadePavich
      @KincadePavich  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think between piston, timing chain, and clutch fibers/steels it was around $300. I ended up replacing camshafts and oil pump as well which was another $400ish

    • @KincadePavich
      @KincadePavich  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      And should have replaced the valves but didn't which would have been around $500 I think

  • @127rider

    the internal of the engine looked really good for 130 hours, i can see why people are putting 400 hours + on 350's seems to be a good engine
