I really like the build but do you think the zirconium colored rear sprocket would look good with the plastics?

The spark arrestor is held in with a spiral clip. Get a pick under the edge of the clip and roll it out. It's really easy.

The yellow knob on the bottom of the throttle body is the cold start. Pushed in means it's on, you can roll the throttle forward and it should release the cold start knob.

I've got a 2017 Husky TC125 from Austria and I've got to say they are so bad ass. The KTM and Huskys are damn near identical so I’m sure you are going to fully enjoy that thing

Looking good!! Btw the fmf has a snap ring in the cap. Take that out grap the center with 2 duck bills and the spark arrester will come right out. It will let her breath 👌🤙🤙

Turned out great! I see you didn’t install the skid plate. I really recommend going with one that has linkage protection.
Yes! It will go on. I forgot to mention in the video, I usually don't install the skid until after some run time so I can check for leaks.

Great bike build! Love my ktm 500 supermoto. Tip: Water likes to hideout in the fuel tank bolt hole after washing. Throw some grease or anti seize in there.

I was running on about 3 hours of sleep in 2 days from storm clean up and dozed off when I hit play.. woke to "well hopefully that rectal cream works good and we dont have any leaks" 11:25 min mark .. hahahaha instantly a wtf am I watching and how long have I been asleep moment.. wide awake now as I check for ...umm.. yea no leaks hahaha
Seeing that powder coat chip with that swing arm bolt. Almost gave me an aneurism 😂 and Scott powers ports is awesome that's where I got my yz250fx from the last 24 they had awesome service and I was in and out in 30 minutes

Awesome clean job. Also that pipe does have a quit core in it. To take it out there is a ring around it after u take the ring out take 2 needle nose pliers on the inner circle of the pipe and it will pull right out.

There is a little retainer clip in the tip of the exhaust between the carbon cap and the quiet insert. Take a pic and twirl it out. Bike turned out amazing 👍🏽 plz do a video about shimming the valves

Just a tip when breaking in an engine, let the engine bring itself down in speed - so don't clutch in. The load will help set the piston rings.
Hope you put a skid plate on there ! Well worth doing don't want a stone to fire up and crack the engine cases , saves the frame also ! Stunning bike

At least you primed the ever living shit out of the oiling system before it fired up! 🤣 Pro tip - When starting the bike from cold, first tap the starter quickly to kick the fuel pump on, then wait a few seconds before proper cranking. Usually always helps it start.
Also, it's normal to feel clutch drag until the engine oil warms up.
I'm jealous, I've wanted a 350 for a long time, just can't afford one. before you take it out, you need to get a skid plate with a linkage protector, i'd suggest SXS. You can also remove the spark arrestor by removing the clip on the inside and sliding it out.
I’m at 3 months today waiting on Bonehead to powder some wheel faces. How long do you usually wait. I know you have used them several times. Oh, you probably already figured it out but you just need to use a pick to get the silencer out. Look in the rear around the hole there is a retaining ring. It blends in pretty good. Pick the end and just walk it out.

The whining sound is incredibly loud and from what I’m seeing through Google forums,it’s because of a worn out gearbox or clutch basket. Great build though!! Keep up the good work
The frame guards will actually destroy the frame more than your legs will. So just stick that extra set of frame grip tape to the frame underneath the guards to protect the frame from the guards lol
I find the poly skids slide over obstacles better than aluminum. The aluminum kind of grinds and digs grooves into it. I have a Suzuki eiger 400 and it has poly skids was apprehensive at first. But we have what we call pocono potatoes on our hunting property that seem to grow every year and they are no issues with these skid plates.
Why even go back with a two piece T in the frame? A silicone Samco kit is the way, No worry about a leak any more. Also, Lube the kickstand. You will eventually launch the hardware in the woods. Make sure it tight. Also, when you put the kickstand on. hook the spring up and then put the kickstand on the numb on the frame. Then the pivot bolt. Way easy. I've launched a few sets of hardware on mine.
That fuel line connection on small Ktm’ is usually the issue when a fuel pump won’t come on. You need to hear an audible click.
With the quite core in the exhaust it’s kinda like a snap ring, you have to spin it i believe to be able to pull the quite core out, there’s videos on TH-cam
I have always wanted one of these Ktms but their extremely hard to find were I am from so thanks for making this video I really enjoyed it

Hey man, been a fan from the beginning of your channel. Lots of cool builds with at the same time a good sense of humor. One question tho, i'm struggeling to find a service manual for my KTM 150sx 2017. I got a owners manual with the bike, but for me to be able to do all of the maintenance myself, i need the servicemanual but i can't find it anywhere. I am from The Netherlands tho, maybe in Europe we don't have these but if you know where i could find these manuals, i would be helped out greatly. Thanks anyways!🤙🏻

Them subframe bolts definitely need lock tight. I had the fall out during a wheelie and my whole subframe dropped lol

Looks good, but you got to get that suspension done. Stock WP aer fork and piston shock are turds. You can only go as fast as your suspension will allow you.

Not questioning your building ability’s at all here but did you put grease on the bolts for the swingarm an wishbone shafts lol. Didn’t look like it but i could be mistaken. That way they don’t sieze in the future
