I really like the build but do you think the zirconium colored rear sprocket would look good with the plastics?
This bike turned out amazing. Imo one of the best looking bikes you have built. Can't wait to see it all tuned up and ripping.
@zoomert1204 thank you dude; glad you like it!
@MichaelSabo you've done amazing on this one. Never thought I'd see a KTM that I'd be willing to ride until now. Also you can remove the quiet core pretty easily. Dirtbike tv has a video on it on TH-cam. Also please remove that cheezy chain guard on the swingarm.
@@stephenblackstock1923 thanks for the info on the pipe and dude... I was really torn on putting that guard on lol
The spark arrestor is held in with a spiral clip. Get a pick under the edge of the clip and roll it out. It's really easy.
I appreciate that man! Thank you
Who’s been waiting for three months???
Meeeee
Meeeeeeeeeee🎉
Moment I saw this video I was hyped up
You're awesome; thank you
@MichaelSabo no problem your contents fun sp ofc I'll watch
Mike Sabo posted a full build!!!! Best day of the month let’s go!!!!!
I appreciate you man 💪👊
Yay, Daddy Sabo uploaded a new video! Shame he's not at sand wars.
Mike I am not into dirt bikes or ATV's, but I find myself watching all your videos for hours!!! This KTM build came out amazing and you do unbelievable work. The attention to detail is remarkable!!
Thanks so much for saying this; made my night 👊🤘
The yellow knob on the bottom of the throttle body is the cold start. Pushed in means it's on, you can roll the throttle forward and it should release the cold start knob.
Thank you for this info man! 👊
I work at a American muscle restoration shop and specialize in 60s/70s mopars. We restore our cars down to the nut and bolts with correct finishes and stamping like they were off the showroom floor. Awesome to see someone doing that in the field of dirt bikes and atvs. Love how detailed you get down to the plating of the hardware and finishes on parts and pieces. Love the builds man and excellent work. Keep it up.
Badass bike Mike! Looks better than expected.
Thank you dude!
Skid plate, skid plate, SKID PLATE WITH LINKAGE GUARD!!! Bike looks amazing! But you definitely want a skid plate with a rear linkage guard
Another Mike sabo masterpiece big thumbs up from the UK
Mike, it looks so sick!! Another great job on your build. Incredible outcome. 👍🏻🔥😎
Thanks so much for all your help Bret; you most definitely inspired the ICW radiators!
Been watching since first post the day you pick this bike up. Absolute amazing transformation from a basket case to a thing of beauty. Love the color pop and graphics are spot on.
Thank you for watching the whole series, I'm glad you like the turnout 👊
Always enjoy the color schemes on these builds.
The spark arestor in the fmf comes out super easy just with 1 ser-clip in the end of the exhaust
You have literally made a show bike. Beautiful ❤
My guy!!! That came out truly amazing!! You are not just a bike builder but a bike artist! Keep up the amazing content and inspiring people like me to tackle projects like these!!!
Awesome compliment man, thank you so much!
The quality of you're work is first class and through the inclusion of the 'warts and all' difficulties that you experience along the way serves to humanise the build.
Love watching your work please don’t stop.
Mike, your Tourett's is showing!! Looking freakin' outstanding, Mr. Sabo... Good stuff.
Sweeeeet job, Mike
My favorite build so far!
Can’t wait until you get the final tweaks and see it on the trail.
I will say I’m a 2t guy but you’ve got a fine machine there.
Thank you man, that's a big compliment
That's one of the sickest bikes I've ever seen. Nice work, Mike! Big fan over here!
Big compliment man! Thank you so much 👊
Your videos are really well produced! I appreciate your detail about all the issues with aftermarket parts. Badass bike it turned out super sharp
Thanks Carson; glad you liked it 💪👊
Always build some of the cleanest machines!!!
The color combo is mint! Probably one of my favorite builds you’ve done so far
I think this build by FAR tops every other build! Excellent work !! 😮🔥
That's a big compliment man, thank you 🤘👊
You have outdone yourself on this one my freind. Absolutely gorgeous!! Im sure you got the little rhings all fixed already. Cant wait to see the first ride on it!
Looks awesome, everything came together great!
Hell yah! Them colors match so well.
What a beautiful rig I love the build the high vis looks great,
Another amazing build. Fantastic job dude!
LETS GOOO MICHEAL🎉
🤘🤘🤘
Man the whole bike is perfect! But I absolutely love the look of the swing arm along with the back wheel! And that frame! Killed it bro!
Im in love with that colourway 🍋🟩💚
Damn it! I can't watch your video right now. I'm at work! 😢 guess I'll get to it later. I can't wait! Love your videos!!!
I appreciate the love man; it'll be here later 👊
Great bike build! Love my ktm 500 supermoto. Tip: Water likes to hideout in the fuel tank bolt hole after washing. Throw some grease or anti seize in there.
Beautiful bike! Nicely done!
You can always use a T hose replacement that is aftermarket, its one piece. Common problem with the 23+ with the T hose leaking. You can delete the thermostat, and replace the plastic T hose all in one go. I used MotoHose, really nice stuff. Maybe it will help some of you guys!
Also, the front fork height based on the milled lines can be adjusted as rider prefers. It can help get more weight to the front and give a shorter wheel base. It helps a lot if you struggle a little with turning. You can also tighten the steering stem bolt to make your steering a little more stiff, I find it helps a lot with arm pump and headshake.
Awsome job, you'll get her dialed in, I am certain...
That special lock washer is called a Nord-Lock. They work amazingly well. I use them on heavy equipment. I think they require about 20% more torque to remove as what was put on them. Many people install them wrong when reusing. the course tabs of each washer should mate up. The finer side, with more serrations hit the bottom of the bolt head as well as whatever your bolting against.
I started to watch this vid and realized it's was an hour long when it was the outro amazing work
Retina Burn Yellow!! This gonna be good, Mike!!
🔥 Mr Sabo you’ve outdone yourself again
Absolutely beautiful
Nobody does it like MS. It’s a beauty!
Looks sweet! Cannot wait for the restoration of the kx 250 you just recently picked up
It's about time I've been patiently waiting for this!! Hell yeah brother
I appreciate ya waiting man!
Bike came out sick!
The bike looks awesome!!! Another great video!!!
Thank you Joel!
outstanding work looks amazing
Always love your builds and the work you put in to restoring the bikes or atvs I’ve not long finished up fully restoring my 2001 cr 250. Next on my list is my Ktm 300. Love the videos bro. Top work and that’s a awesome loooking ktm bud
Yesssss
Another amazing build Michael , you have motivated and inspired me so much to start my own project and I’m building a trx250r from scratch
I could never deal with a bike that has that much technology in it, i would never be able to diagnose it. your a smart man mike. love the build, think ill stick to carburetors lol
Another badass assembly bro🤙🏾.
Wooo Hooo!! Awesome job as always. Excellent work on the rebuild and video! I’m not sure if it was mentioned or not but make sure you double check the throttle position sensor (TPS) voltage as that is hyper sensitive and can cause starting/idling jitters!
Wow that bike really pops!! Love your graphic design 👍 😎
Thank you!
Great work Mike 👏 ❤love your videos.
Totally worth the wait! 😊😮
I appreciate you waiting man!
That bike is absolutely awesome. It will be your favorite. The Kawasaki may get neglected 😁. Great job on the video to bro, always tons of laughs. 👍
No doubt I'm going to love this bike; thanks so much for the kind words man!
@@MichaelSabo right on man 👍
Outstanding build Mike!
Thank you!
Awesome video and build man 👍
Glad to see you are blurring the street signs now! Haha I see everything. Loved watching this beautiful bike come together and I can’t wait for the first real ride
Love that florescent yellow!
lets go! excited to see this thing in action
👊💪
Looking good!! Btw the fmf has a snap ring in the cap. Take that out grap the center with 2 duck bills and the spark arrester will come right out. It will let her breath 👌🤙🤙
Ahhh, I got it now; thank you for the tip!
xcf 350's are such incredible bikes. i keep up with my 450 buddies on trails, but i get to rev out to 12k. Glad you are building one.
I'm excited to experience it on the trails!
I absolutely love the bike man great build
The bike came out great!! Seriously, it looks awesome!
Just a tip when breaking in an engine, let the engine bring itself down in speed - so don't clutch in. The load will help set the piston rings.
Love it. Fantastic job.
Thank you dude!
Can’t wait for the motor tear down
Excellent work Sabo, you should organize a ride along, let's go trail riding.
I do like the final outcome.
Badass build brotha
Looks amazing,nice color choices
Seeing that powder coat chip with that swing arm bolt. Almost gave me an aneurism 😂 and Scott powers ports is awesome that's where I got my yz250fx from the last 24 they had awesome service and I was in and out in 30 minutes
That looks Hella Good!
It is incredible!!!!!
Awesome clean job. Also that pipe does have a quit core in it. To take it out there is a ring around it after u take the ring out take 2 needle nose pliers on the inner circle of the pipe and it will pull right out.
Wow, not a single dislike. This vid will be good.
Pure quality 👌 👏
Such a beautiful bike
Looks so rad!!!
Thank you Jordan 🤘👊
Nice vid. Bike turned out super cool! Nice Goggins T shirt.
Good eye man, goggins is a big inspiration for me. Glad you like the bike!
@@MichaelSabo me also. Stay hard MFer!!!! lol
Great thing to wake up to a Sabo video on a saturday
👊🤘
Not really a KTM/ European guy, but this may change my mind. Sick build bro, keep up the killer work🤘🤘🤘
You know it’s a good day when Mike uploads
Time for a Honda 3 wheeler build
Looking Sweet
Nice dirt bike l love watching your videos so much
Ben here from Victoria Australia. I always press the starter quickly to prime fuel pump before starting my bike. Normally, just when its cold
Beautiful build my man
Thank you man!
bike looks great 🔥🔥
Great detailed videos 🔥
Michael that frame is bright is blinding me looking at the video
Hahaha, it's so bright it was messing with the white balance on my camera
Hey Michael have you ever thought of doing an asmr build video?
Your videos where youre putting stuff together with just the sounds of parts sounds so relaxing, like maybe a maintenence video like Revzilla does asmr style?
Love your videos
Nice awesome work as always 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Thank you Carlos!
I would say first but location varies
Wow wow 👌 look sweet
There is a little retainer clip in the tip of the exhaust between the carbon cap and the quiet insert. Take a pic and twirl it out. Bike turned out amazing 👍🏽 plz do a video about shimming the valves
