Great review man, I think they are great pedal set just...not out of the box, I ordered mine as is and was kind of underwhelmed until I bought the performance kit then they came alive, they are great but highly highly recommend if purchasing to get the performance kit right away. I just ordered the Elite V2's and am waiting patiently to see how they compare I've heard great things about the V2's and curious to see how they stack up to the dated V3's I think right now personally if I was looking for pedals the V3's now are a little overpriced for what you get out of the box, having to order the performance kit to really make them great isn't ideal at $399 for the pedals then having to get the kit. Thank you. And yes, for that price, adding the performance kit would have justified the price better. It's not that it would financially killed them to add it in the base package I would think. I am also curious about those V2's. I have always been a fan of the CSL elite. They looked good, felt good. Is this a Upgrade to the CSL pedals with Loadcell from the GT DD pro? Your video was nice to enjoy and you are getting better with each Video, keep up the good work! But i have to mention your voice and the video was not synchronized, it didnt was that bad, just telling you.
Hmmmm... i wasn't really a fan of the CSL pedals 🤭 yes it is an upgrade. They feel very nice as pedals and look gorgeous but just very expensive. I think they are the best of what Fanatec has to offer and if you want to stay in the brand, something to consider. Thanks for the feedback, I will pay attention for the syncing next time 👍👍👍👍

They are top of my shopping list, before your video/ as I think the pedals are more important than which wheel Wave a heat gun/ hair dyer over it to heat it a bit to loosen the thread lock compound
I agree. There is a lot of emphasis put on the wheel but the pedals are very important. I read of people also trying with the heat gun but had issues. But in theory, they are exchangeable 😅
@@SimulatedDrivingResource well I used to race cars IRL and my take on Sim racing is….yes, it is immersive, yes it is far cheaper, but no, it is nothing like IRL, and Sim pedals are the worst factor, but Sim wheels are not that far behind! It is a question of: how unrealistic is this product? 😝

@@SimulatedDrivingResource Yes , i found the test button works , seams like Assetto Corsa basic edition does not support that , or at least not if the paddles are used with non fanatec wheel , i use T 300 Thurstmaster . I installed FanaLEDs , and in there i set some sensitivity to 100% just to test , didn't have more time today . Got the wheel and pedals today . Got Logitech G923 , garbage wheel , literally useless . T300 much better , and i don't need stronger FF , I'm in to enjoy not race online . That being said , i still have one problem with Fanatec CS pedals . Brake pedal , one with load cell , it was going all over the place , spent 3h checking and narrowed it down to the Gain potentiometer , basically i can not get the Brake pedal to go over 50% sometimes it wouldn't work at all , i did not even know i had Vibration on there , i saw it when i was repairing the brake , and when i press on the Potentiometer break goes to 100% , so i and the rapid movement on the pedal stopped mostly when i secured the potentiometer a bit better . But i think its faulty , giving mixed signals , probably dirty , does not have good contact . I hope that is it , that its not the Load Cell , its not expensive 20$ but on Ebay i will have to wait months till it comes . I saw a video a man showed with jittering brake , and he replaced the load cell , but i do not think Load cells brake that easy , i don't know what they are made of maybe i can repair that as well , had the pedals only today and i managed to get the Vibration , and pedal to work at 50% , then i set the levels in AC , and i can use it . I can also use the clutch , since im not using it , transfer the vibrator to the clutch pedal , and then use it like that . But , load cell is better no doubt , i only need to get it working 100%. maybe you know of such an issue ,when i fully press the break pedal , it only goes to 50% , and this is registered as 50% in Fanatec software and in AC . Where usually these things work by detecting full range and then mapping on to that , but not with a load cell they don't . I think i will be able to get it to 75% working order in a weak . But i hope with some input to get it to 100% working . I need to look at how load cell works , it must be reparable . Or is it not .
It depends on if game sends game telemetry. Simhub software is very good to make haptic work but if no game telemetry, it becomes difficult and then yes, you can set it when you press pedal 50% to make it rumble but its not really that "fun". You can manually recalibrate pedals in fanatec sw if you are having difficulties getting to maximum. As you say, LC dont brake easily. Recalibration is often the key.
I use the T-LCM pedals and very satisfied with them but these look amazing. This hobby is so expensive that once I'm committed to a particular ecosystem, I'm with it for a very long time. Not really a choice about that, just so expensive to switch gear without a very good reason to justify the expense.
I could have kept the Fanatec ones but in the end, like you say, i have a TGT, shifter, handbrake. If I would have kept the V3, i would need to change everything to remain compatible with console. Good looking, but from a performance perspective, not a reason to change.

Hallo Bram, Ik zou zeggen of via Fanatec of op eBay maar ik heb niet onmiddellijk ervaring met bestellen van aparte onderdelen.
I have Fantec CSP i have the break vibrator , but the motor doesnt work . Is there any software issue or should i look in to hardware issues .
Can be both friend. Most easy is to test them with Fanatec software so that you know the hardware works. There is brake and throttle vibration test.
