I like more Misha's performance. He is more IN the music, also for me, he is not only dancing,he interprets choreography,he is acting .It is not by chance, that he became an excellent modern theater drama actor as he grew older. His connection with dance was in a higher level. Thanks for uploading!
Misha all the way. The jumps hover, as usual. The turns, crisp and fast, as usual. The splits in the air, wide and crisp, as usual. Now, the port the bras is just a joy to watch, precise, finished and in character. Then we have those off balance steps that he is the only one to master. And, the characterization is just "devastating charm". The man is one of a kind.
Misha all the way , I agree ! I Iiked Lavery, whom I had seen in several roles at NYCB, but somehow he looked too noble. Thanks for this wonderful comparison.

He is!
Very good comment.
Beautifully expressed comment.
I especially love the 'hands-in-the-pockets-tie-fiddling' shuffle @2:49.
l saw live once also sean lavery in london long ago l liked him very much
I like Lavary most, he is dancing exactly wat Balanchine wants: swinging and "by the way".
バリシニコフの踊りはいつまでも古臭くなく若々しい。
George Balanchine was brilliant.
