How to wear the Milgauss every day and have the best watch time ever.
- 1 wear it slightly up your arm. The mass will disappear.
2. wear it in the daytime, especially in bright sunlight.
This is the most amazing, stunning, watch ever made for wearing where there is direct sunlight.
3. wear it whilst driving in bright sunlight. As per point 2 but even better.
This thing is insane the way it lights up and cars seem to be the place where the angles are just perfect
3 Wear it in the rain. As well as the light show the GV has some other tricks when it has water drops on it. Be amazed.
4. put some protection on the polished clasp.
As for it being a sports watch, all Rolex Oysters are defacto sports watches. You can gobdiving in a Lady Datejust Pearlmaster with a diamond dial, really.
The Milgauss is a watch literally designed for a specific professional to use in their workplace. The Milgauss is a true professional watch.
Your points are excellent! Point 3 especially, I have had this happen and you are spot on!!
I'm wondering if I moved too quick haha;;
Put it on an everest orange rubber strap 👍
I would compare the Rolex Milgauss to a seersucker suit: Probably not the only suit you want to own, but something fun to have for festive occasions.
Someone get this man a beer! Well done!
The black face, green crystal is alot more versatile
Agreed. I like the different cream colours on the 3,6,9 and the black dial just works
Having owned both, I def see the point.
Beautiful dial. My tiny wife wears Tudor Chrono Punk. Have you sold it already?
Appreciate the comment - I did move the piece from my collection.
@@MrAnotherWatchTime I just purchased milgauss yesterday from the grey market. Can’t believe people complain about the size and the thickness of the watch 🤔
Bro.... Even ur Hat and Glass screams Millgauss 😂😂😂😂
If only the Milgauss was the same thickness as the DatejJust. I'd buy one for sure
Maybe 2024 is the year an updated model with the thickness being addressed perhaps?
@MrAnotherWatchTime that would be amazing! I heard that Rolex may discontinue the line as the selling point of the 1,000 gauss has been completely eclipsed by rival watches from Omega etc with 15,000 gauss that don't even advertise it as the main selling point like the Milgauss. Its kinda obsolete from a functional perspective. The design is still awesome though!
Blue dial Rising up in value now discontinued
Typical Rolex trajectory yeah? Thanks for watching
Maybe it’s time to consider the new Airking. It has the quirk/unique design compared to the rest of the Rolex lineup or wait until they rerelease a new Milgauss without the faraday cage that the AirKing also had.
We don’t know if or when a new Milgauss would be released , but purchasing another current one I think you would eventually come into the same conclusion. My friend has sold three Rootbeer GMTs. His mentality now is that if you sell the same watch more than once, then it’s not a keeper and just move on.
I've definitely been keeping my eye on the newly released/updated AirKing for sure. I keep looking at it and some days, I feel iffy about what this watch is. On other days, that yellow-green contrast pop just keeps luring me back in.
You sir might have been the one that just pushed me over the edge....argh.
Thinking of selling mine also. What do you think would be a fair selling price?
Looking at the current market rate (10/2024), I would range it from anywhere in between $9 to $11.5 depending on condition. Would love to hear your reasons on moving on from your piece as well!
My OCD with polished links is #1. It’s also top heavy and doesn’t sit well on my wrist. Doesn’t have glide lock. I got a new Z blue during pandemic for 7K so it’s seems I have some wiggle room to trade up.
