Wolf’s armor design and just overall best looking predator imo. He’s a freaking beast.
My impression was that the mesh is part of the cloaking device, a field conductor of sorts.
Armor-wise, I did like the look of Scar in AVP, but the less plated original suited the character much more.
It could also be apart of the cloak and I also prefer the simple armour of the jungle hunter.
I thought the mesh was so they can go dance at the club right after a hunt

My favorite armor back then was the Dark Blade Clan armor from the Concrete Jungle game. That set really intrigued me and I noticed some differences in the sound of their wrist-computer interface as well as some of their vision modes.
Wolf's, badass lone hunter. I call him "The Janitor " he was there to clean up.
I really liked the Disc master predator from AVP:Extinction
I was actually first introduced to AVP when I played the game when it first came out, and the disc master, as well as the Spear master, were my favorite units.
I also loved the predator who fought the guy with a Katana on Predators!
i have sooooooo many hours into that game on my ps2. I even wrote a story about it in second grade........ended up in the counselor's office lol

The wolf and the berserker predator
I would say my favourite Predator armour would be the Beserker Predator’s, mostly due to the jawbone on his biomask; it just reminds me that the Yautja have gone up against other species and I like that he’s potentially wearing a trophy.
The super predator clan does have some good mask, the one with tusks is my favorite
Seeing you go so far into the lore helps give great examples on how to create good lore, but also inspire others to create good lore for their original work.
If it has to be from previous known predators then I'd have to go for the Dark Blade Clan armor or any armor from Concrete Jungle, but now a days I love the Fugitive Predator armor

I will probably get a lot of criticism for saying that, but I really like the Fugitive Predator's armour. It was one of few things I liked about this movie.

Yeah, you'd wonder why everyone starts theory-crafting and kickstart their imagination, and who really sits on the truth that is plainly a cool design prop.

my favorite pradator armor is the ones used by the predators in avp 2004.
Everyone shits on AVP and while the film itself isn’t technical.. it had my favorite Predators in general, from the bio-masks to the size and personality’s they had.

i have seen you around for quite some time. ever since Avp2 [yes i downloaded your skinpack] its nice to see you kept the lore going all this time. the wolf predator was the best.
I'm a total sucker for the Serpent Hunter armor. Those giant dual wrist blades, that sick looking bio mask. Love it.
City hunter
The Alien hunter armor from AVP 2004, it has a sort of gladiator-esque look to it and not to mention it seems to be a decent balance between protection and mobility, whenever I play predator concrete jungle on the PS2 (for nostalgia) I always wear that skin, but the dark-blade clan armor is a close 2nd.
The helmet from The Predator was my favorite. It was the glowing eyes that made me love it.
I'd say the upgraded Military Blazer from AvP Extinction has the coolest armor.

Spear Master predator armor is also resilient to fire as well. It absorbs it and some how turns the fire into energy for their cloaking device. Nonetheless, great video Acid Glow.

I personally thought the net mesh on their bodies is more for hanging stuff on. Like tying skulls, tools, decorations, or even some extra stuff on them.

I haven't read it in years, but the 4-part Cold War series conveyed to me that the mesh-net- suiting exactly helped with regulating yautja body temperature in bone-cold extremes. That's also the first time I've known that the combi-spear could shoot projectiles.

On the note about the super predators lacking the netting mesh maybe they are advanced to the point their armor provides that function like you stated about the novel of avp. I mean they are way more advanced than other Yautja so this could be true. On the note about which predator had the best looking armor I will have to go with wolf.

I'd rather actually think, that an individual Yautja's armor is always changing, probably based on it's own highest ranked kills and also environmental concerns. In avp they all donned almost full heavy plated armor because they were in the antarctic and probably because they would be fighting in tight confined passages (acid wash and attacks from close range weapons would be likely). In Predators Noland explains they adapt constantly, taking inspiration from their prey/combatants, both physical and mental to become tougher faster smarter killers.
I also often wonder if the reason they operate in such units of 3, is because they mate maybe once every half or full century and females produce tiny litters of 1-2 of course from only the strongest dominant males. I would suspect they need every soldier they can get and not risk losing them in armies

Hmm. Idea. Predators can treat bones in a liquid, it gets hot for a bit while the bone absorbs this liquid, then after it cools the bone has become super dense and hard like an armor. Not the strongest armor, but durable, light, and ritualistic.
