I'm not that deep into Yautja culture but I thought defeating one earns you their respect, not a kill team sent to retaliate
They have made so many movies about humans hunted by predators or Aliens. Time for a movie that takes place on the predator home world where we follow the daily life or rituals of a predator becoming a hunter. That would be super exciting.

I remember i read somewhere that female predators are mostly on home planet and not warriors like males but they possess some kind of super strenght or rage and male predators are even afraid of them. Dont know if it is true or just fan made but it was interesting

That is actually true because canonically it has been stated that multiple Yautja males have been sent flying during mating with a yautja female
Even my own Predator OC is scared of female yautja
I think they do follow the same ritual as the males to become a blooded yautja and can hunt along with them it just when it comes to the mating season that they mostly stay on yautja prime cause after the mating they have to stay in order to raise their young and who knows how often the mating season takes place or how long it takes for the young to become mature enough to hunt.
But then you've got the Widow Clan, made up mostly of females who have lost their mates, they go out and hunt. I guess it depends on what the female does.
Yeah it was the novilization of the predator comic from the 90s.
Predator females were around 13' tall, had 6 breasts, birthed scores in a clutch, and could kill and eat unsuitable mates... Now they have human boobs and butts and look like they just crawled out of deviant art.

Big Momma is definitely one of the best female Yautja yet Hashori is a whole entire different female all together and I'm interested in seeing and creating a good back story for her.

Everyone complaining about Vagouti and Nakande seeking revenge for the death of the other Predator when it's shown in other media if a human kills a Predator they are rewarded with a gift or shown respect: Simple..... not every Predator or every Predator clan is the same. Some Predators are shown to care when their clan members die such as in AVP Chopper got killed by the Grid Alien and this pissed Celtic off rushing to avenge him. Some clans and Predators probably don't like it when a clan member is killed.

Never got to read turnabout . But I've read the sequel short story in If It Bleeds predator novel. It was a really good read n hope to read the first book. This showed more female yautja but sad that it's only in books or comics where they are only mentioned or read about. Wish they could be added to the predator movies. Glad u give them some justice in here. They deserve a mention to their contributions within the predator lore.

Great video cool to see more from the female of the species but the predators always lose in the most goofy ways to me in some of these stories. I mean I get it people want the human character to win/survive but come on, at this point in waiting for a story where the predator chases it prey then slips on a banana peel and breaks its neck.

I kinda like the idea of Female Predators presented in the book version of Alien Vs Predator: Prey. It gives a very good reason why male hunters have to be so impressive with their hunts.
I LOVED this story. The couple was just fun to read about. It's one of the few times I the root for the humans instead of the monsters.

It would be cool if the alien franchise combined with the predator franchise.
And made more movies, alien franchise Is owned by Disney. However Disney is a multi billion dollar corporation so I imagine they will continue the legacy well. A lot of people were critical of Prometheus and cabinet, only because they didn’t understand the storyline if you research about what the whole alien story is about and how they got there it was very interesting one of the best movies and trilogies ever create

Yeah I was thinking that. Isn't that why Danny Glovers character at the end of the 2nd movie was given a pistol as an acknowledgement instead of being killed in revenge for all the Predators he'd killed leading up to that moment?
Well technically it wasn’t for revenge they wanted to challenge Sloane however when they got there he looked old so they didn’t want to bother with him and looked for other prey however Sloane may have been weak but his skills definitely weren’t so he hunted them down and killed the first predator mate and then the female.
I find it unlikely that a primal race such as Yautja, whose culture centers entirely around archetypes of violence and the hunt would consider an exposed female vulgar or distasteful. Some of their garments contradict their culture.
well us humans don't think of stuff like that very often.
The female Yautja rarely are hunters so we dont really know how their home world woman dress. nothing has shown the females that do hunt or males for that matter being completely naked either. And Yautja are not a primal species they are far more advanced then even advanced humans in the AVP universe lol. juts hunting is a huge part of their culture as a species, they still have rules, enforcers, an entire society.
@@strenuousspider9525 You're thinking in human terms. Their "rules" are so alien to our rules so as to seem completely draconian or utterly tribal by our standard of community. Their concept of murder for instance, or whether or not they actually have a concept of murder at all given their violent nature is very different than ours. They also have a process of culling the weak from the strong. Our closest example of that might be the Nazi Eugenics Program, but the two models would have been very different in their approach.
And Yautja females have been explored to some degree. They were written about in an early-90s book that described them as lumbering colossi kept strictly for breeding and with a penchant for eating males that were "not up to par."
Of course, I don't believe that's canon anymore in part because of fragile karens who view that as intentionally written as a metaphor for the behavior of some human women.
