I love how you make these small or big, lands for animals needing a better home, because they were just in a box or in the forest that has trash. ( some do ) And you give them a better home! 🏡 ❤🦎
Wow! It looked amazing after placing the small stones and gravel! And then the plants aswell! Incredible how small the babies are compared to the adults
Beautiful thank you . I am experimenting with all sorts of different smaller ponds for indoors , am very amateur but having great fun and love to watch . This one is gorgeous thank you
That's beautiful. I was a little worried at first with rocks and wood and plants all up against the edges and projecting upward, but I guess cherry shrimp are smart enough to stay in the water...unlike some FISH and other aquatic critters I've had! What do the shrimp eat, are they algae grazers or are they eating plankton or similar?
How do you maintain that build? Do you need regular water changes or just top ups? Do the shrimp need feeding or can they get all they need from what grows in the tank? Great build. Love it.
Hello can you explain how to maintenance and what you feed the shrim and maybe how many you feed the shrimp /day I hope you answer this comment thankyou 😊
This is lovely, I love how it all comes together! 😄 One question: what sort of lighting did you have this in? A particular direction facing window, or artificial lighting, or?
I'm blown away at every one of your videos! I did something very similar but unfortunately my shrimps did not survive and I'm unsure why. Do you use tap water for your water changes?
Love this! I did a similar pond, but yours is prettier. Question: why no heater for the shrimp? I'd love to do another pond without a heater, but I'm worried it won't be warm enough. Thoughts? Thanks!
Fantastic work and the shrimp look so nice and comfortable there! How often do you find you need to top up the water in the pond and does it not stagnate in a no-filter environment? Would springtails make sense in a setup like this or there's not enough dry land for them / no way to keep them inside the setup? Thank you!
I had the same thought with springtails, I think is there’s just not enough dry land & they would easily find their way out. I’ve been topping up ever 3-5 days & 20% water change every 3-4 weeks. No issues with stagnation yet & I think that’s due to the plants. Hope this was helpful:)
fish can be placed in it even with the natural filter from the plants or must there still be a machine filter if fish is added? Nice build btw!!! Looks stunning
This is amazing! I've seen people online say you need surface agitation so that underwater critter get oxygen? Is this not the case? I ask as someone wanting to do some no filter planted aquariums in the future.
HI! Great video, I would like to know if along with those shrimps there was any other type of animal that can ''coexist'' with them, whether in the water or out. A thousand thanks.
Most nano fish Are fine If they are in the 10 gallon and below size. Above that it's still fine because the shrimp know how to avoid the fish But 1 or 2 will get eaten every now and then.
Thanks! For the aquatic plants, fish shops usually offer a good selection. Plants like Fittonia & asparagus ferns are often sold in garden centres. Online is a great option too:)
I've never had shrimp, isn't this tank too small for them? I thought they multiplied quickly. Or is it just temporary? But the aquascaping was beautiful.
Oh how I would love to do this but….CATS!! 😼🐈⬛ 🐈 They would think it was their own private buffet, or at the very least a cool interactive toy. 😂 Excellent video!!
I notice that the other asparagus fern has one yellowing frond. Mine has died and I think it might be because they don't like too much light. You didn't, by the way, tell us anything about how you lit this setup. I'd be interested to know.
How do you take care of it? I’ve always wanted a pound but can’t have one at my house I do have a fish tank, but it’s really not the same I absolutely love this and plan on making this
Tissue works nice, it has the same property i am gonna tell you about this other alternative 100% natural cotton, used for cleaning injueries, it will give the natural bacteria a safe place to rest if any accident happen like too much water is lost or if you have to change the water for some reason As i said before, tissue also works but cotton is more optimal
Ive been looking into getting some cherry shrimp for myself, and I'm just curious how do they do without a pump for water flow? Ive been seeing that as a good thing to have but maybe it depends on the tank size as well?

Have you tried to use dried spagnum moss instead of tissues? I've discovered that fixes very fast, it's easy and looks more natural
I haven’t but that seems like a great idea, will certainly give it a go:)
A minor correction to the dimensions in inches - the tank is about 4" deep rather than 10". Beautiful scape!
No heater?
Love how natural it looks! Never thought of putting multiple species of floating plants in one setup, but it looks great!
I really like how it looks:) would be interesting to experiment with even more species🤔
I am blown away by every new build you make. I thought this would be your best, but that reveal at the end changed everything! Both are so stunning!
Thank you! Excited to release it😃
Aw, it must be such a great feeling to see those shrimp thriving so much under your care! ❤
It really is!😃

Beautiful! I'd love to know what it looks like now, how the shrimp are doing, and what maintenance was required.
Same!
Wow that is amazing I love that mini tank and and love those shrimp and their babies . Thank u for sharing
Glad you enjoyed the video:)
make sure you let people know shrimp can climb out the pond to and can jump if spooked! so they could jump out the tank
Floating plant stops them
Great build, I love your videos. Also I've never seen a shrimp poo in all my years owning them... 8:31
Love the details in the wood
It's beautiful. I love all your creations. BTW you've got a very pleasant voice to listen to. 😉
Absolutely gorgeous! I have to try it. Have always wanted to try something with a mister/fogger stuck in there.
What a beautiful build! the shrimp really bring the life to it.
OMG, that looks so rewarding and relaxing! Who knew I’d be so into this
Absolutely lovely work mate, a joy to watch as always!
Thank you!
Love it. I would really like one like this for shrimp. I’m tempted to try…
You should definitely try. It’s super low maintenance:)
Love watching before bed is very calming
Очень красивый пруд получился! И очень красиво на видео снято!
I love this set up. I am currently experimenting by smashing this tank with your waterfall paludarium. 🤞Thanks for the great videos
i have a scape very similar to what you just built. so i obviously love it lol
Don't you have issues with biofilm accumulating on the surface due to the stagnant water? Is there a trick to dealing with/preventing that?
The baby shrimp are adorable!
Just found this channel, love it! looking forward to going through your back catalogue of builds.
Welcome!😃

best design I've seen so far!
Beautiful! You are such a huge inspiration. 😊
Thank you, really appreciated it!
I loved the aquarium and seeing the baby shrimp 🦐🦐 I live in New Zealand and time is 5 am
Beautiful tank and shrimp.
This is so satisfying to see day 0-90. Loved it! It looks great! ❤
Hello can you explain how to maintenance and what you feed the shrim and maybe how many you feed the shrimp /day
I hope you answer this comment thankyou 😊
I don't have to feed my shrimp. As long as I don't clean the algae off the glass they don't need anything to eat😀😂
This is lovely, I love how it all comes together! 😄
One question: what sort of lighting did you have this in? A particular direction facing window, or artificial lighting, or?
What a fantastic build! You have a lot of talent! 🔥
Thank you!
Wow it is so brilliant, so nice work
How often and how you change the water?!
Wow, stunningly beautiful...will try to mimic the same setup ....need your input...how long to go without water change??
I'm blown away at every one of your videos! I did something very similar but unfortunately my shrimps did not survive and I'm unsure why. Do you use tap water for your water changes?
Absolutely stunning!!
Thanks mate!
woah bro your fishtank looks IMMACULATE
Plz do a room tour video 😊
Yes!
Nothing beats a nice terrarium designs video ❤️ also first time I saw a shrimp poop 8:32 lmao
Haha good find!😅
That's an interesting thing of creation, isn't it? The first time I saw it, I had to laugh haha because it's a normal thing that brings relaxation.
That is so beautiful and serene
What is your maintenance schedule like on this??? It's amazing and would love to try a similar one someday!
Such talent and skill. 🥰🥰
Thank you!
Superb build. Very clean and perfect combo of plants. How do you refill water once the setup is completely established without disturbing it?
Just put a thick piece of plastic wrap in the tank like in the video and turn on the water pump at a light speed.
Love this! I did a similar pond, but yours is prettier. Question: why no heater for the shrimp? I'd love to do another pond without a heater, but I'm worried it won't be warm enough. Thoughts? Thanks!
Thats fantastic little pond
If anyone wants a bigger shallow tank I’d recommend WIO I have a 60x35x22 and a 60x30x16 both great tanks

This looks really wonderful!
Looking wonderful mini pound 😍
Beautiful work of natural living art🤘
fish can be placed in it even with the natural filter from the plants or must there still be a machine filter if fish is added?
Nice build btw!!! Looks stunning
Someone give this man a beat, he speaks in poetry.
This is amazing! I've seen people online say you need surface agitation so that underwater critter get oxygen? Is this not the case? I ask as someone wanting to do some no filter planted aquariums in the future.
It would be cool if you did a video showing the maintense you do with your terrariums
God bless 😀
Inspiring me to make one for my classroom!
I’ll get this type of aquarium one day
Great build. Thank you for the great video.
Glad you enjoyed it

Amazing! I am new to this. I have never seen anything like this, I am hooked!
How hard is it to care for the pond?
It's beautiful; I just hope to be as skilled as you one day.
I found you coincidentally and I only can say, it looks amazing!
I think that's a heaven for the fish😊😊😊
Fantastic build! How would you recommend someone starting out getting some plants?
Thanks! For the aquatic plants, fish shops usually offer a good selection. Plants like Fittonia & asparagus ferns are often sold in garden centres. Online is a great option too:)
Beautiful work 👏👏
Absolutely Awesome, keep up the good work. 😎👍💯
Amazing work on this one
It's a beautiful setup ❤
Did you feed the shrimps or the shrimps fed in the plants?
I've never had shrimp, isn't this tank too small for them? I thought they multiplied quickly. Or is it just temporary? But the aquascaping was beautiful.
Oh how I would love to do this but….CATS!! 😼🐈⬛ 🐈 They would think it was their own private buffet, or at the very least a cool interactive toy. 😂
Excellent video!!
Beautiful build❤ cheers from SmallScaleTales
Thank you!
how do you control the growth of these plants? surely you must remove some in order to keep them from overgrowing?
Cherry shrimp are cool!
very nice! Can the stones be glued with any kind of superglue?
This is an awesome build! Do you usually buy plants & shrimp online or from a shop?
How often do you water change something like this ?? I love these no filter set ups you do ✌️
I'm guessing you did the 2.5 gal? Or which one did you end up picking? Looks like a set-up I'll need to try!
I notice that the other asparagus fern has one yellowing frond. Mine has died and I think it might be because they don't like too much light. You didn't, by the way, tell us anything about how you lit this setup. I'd be interested to know.
Love the vid! Where do you get your plants the projects?
Usually from aquarium stores online. Riverwood aquarium & aquarium gardens are some good places in the uk:)
How do you take care of it? I’ve always wanted a pound but can’t have one at my house I do have a fish tank, but it’s really not the same I absolutely love this and plan on making this
Great setup! What do you feed the shrimp? Or do they feed off the algae and plants? (Sorry for the amateur question) lol.
looks great! what are you feeding the shrimp?
Any timeframe on that giant ecosystem? Beautiful pond btw
Letting it grow in for a while but I’m hoping 4-6 weeks maybe🤔
@@TerrariumDesigns ok can’t wait!
as a total newbie when it comes to shrimps in general, but what do they eat in that ecosystem? do you need to add any type of food for them?
Tissue works nice, it has the same property i am gonna tell you about this other alternative
100% natural cotton, used for cleaning injueries, it will give the natural bacteria a safe place to rest if any accident happen like too much water is lost or if you have to change the water for some reason
As i said before, tissue also works but cotton is more optimal
What water do you use if you need to top the water level up? Cheers.
Just amazing! Great video!!!
Amazing! You earned a sub!
Thanks! Welcome😃
what kind of lighting have you used @Terrarium Designs ?
Are you using a light source? Great build btw!
Do shrimp need a heater?
I think you should show us how to build a mini Pond for goldfish !!!😊😊😊
what type of snails should i use
I recommend using physella Acuta snails 🐌
Nice vid! What lighting solutions do you recommend for terrariums?
Ive been looking into getting some cherry shrimp for myself, and I'm just curious how do they do without a pump for water flow? Ive been seeing that as a good thing to have but maybe it depends on the tank size as well?
Water chanhes at all or do you just top off as needed?
Awesome mine pond, I’d live to make one but don’t think I’m talented enough…do you change the H20 or world you put an airator in there??
