Another great video Dave and that Z train he was highballing. That engineer was not letting no grass grow under that baby but anyway, my friend you stay safe out there and watch your back and we’ll see you on the next one.
Thank you Tucker! I've been videoing from this location for several years and never tried this particular spot, I don't know why because it's a great vantage point! Thanks for watching my friend!
What a nice set of catches. Nice catch of those Chargers on the Empire Builder. You're in that sweet spot in the country where the Z trains have DPU's on them. Have an awesome day.
Yes they are Bruce. Back in 1970, when they built the Libby Dam (which is only approx. 5 miles from this location) they had planned on building a reregulation dam at this location. They planned on putting in a bridge here to allow access to the dam. For some reason they never put in the dam and only had built the approaches to the bridge before canceling the project. Thanks for watching my friend!
Boy are you busy…… excellent as always
Thank you Charles! I'm just out enjoying the beautiful Montana summer! Thanks for watching my friend!

@@PacificNWRailfan It is definitely a prime spot with the elevation and the entrance or exit siding being right there makes for some great viewing.

Dave, are those old bridge abutments? Looks like there was a bridge over to the boat ramp area across the river.
Yes they are Bruce. Back in 1970, when they built the Libby Dam (which is only approx. 5 miles from this location) they had planned on building a reregulation dam at this location. I’m sure you’ve answered this before but are there any SD70s? I don’t think I’ve seen a single one? Did BNSF get rid of them all?
They have lots of SD70's both SD70MAC and SD70ACe. Thanks for watching my friend!
