FD3/64 hockey stick mod
suggest 5 sticks at first , 10 later but it's going to get very crowded.
with the 10 hole pattern it's 5 or 10 , 5 is minimum but should get you up and running don't think 10 would work/fit..
The sticks will need modifying as suggested but keep them similar to the Mark Drake sticks with a venturi section at the inlet and a spring at the exit.
The coil is 65 mm i/d diameter at the front end which would put it forward of the 4 mm holes so sticks should exit at same position I was wrong on video.
You need to induce some swirl as Kurt intended with the 5 0.8 mm holes in the coil after drilling he used piano wire to alter hole direction.
The sticks could be modified to induce swirl as well as some of the other primary holes could be twisted.not sure which you could try if it makes it worse you can always knock them flat again.
Try to make the outer can removable to be able to repair /modify chamber.
Do let me know if you try it.
Warning do not use cardboard or cardboard derivatives ,paper sellotape or string on any gas turbine or oil tanker ! see video below.

I ditched the tapered combustion chamber and the coil very quickly. Still ran too hot.

answer is the pt35 combustion chamber hole pattern but I've stuck to the open back combustor and have the hockey stick vaporizer tubes of the hobbyjet 631 on the front plate of the combustor. The pt35 is a development of the hobbyjet 631 the hole pattern is slightly different but does make a difference.
Have you run yours on gas from a big propane bottle with a regulator set at 40psi if it does not run right on gas you have another problem .
