when I had this at the Indian restaurant, I thought I tasted cardamon. That's why I wanted to also make it. I thought cardamon is put inside the milk, vanilla custard. It was also runny not thick like this, but i guess u can make it how u like.
I love cardomon!!! And learning new recipes with it, Indian food is one of my favs. If you want another fun cardomon recipe look up a Swedish Cinnamon roll recipe. Its also on the back of the Swedish Pearl sugar box which you'll need and can buy on Amazon. I need to go buy milk then I'm gonna make this custad.

Yes you can add a pinch of Cardomon powder while boiling the milk. Also try making it less thick as when it cools it becomes thicker.
