The ONE THING I hate about Presonus Studio One

- I've been a Studio One fanatic for the last 12 years. And I've waited and waited of years for them to do the simple things that made workflow easy for those of us that compose music using our hardware keyboards and devices. We can't even get a volume and pan fader for our midi tracks? All the amazing improvements over the years and the most basic feature has been overlooked. A lot of us still use keyboards and sound modules. I've never been totally dependent on virtual instruments or plugins. Can we make it make sense?
Studio One is good but I personally prefer Cubase Pro.
I just find it more capable for my creative process.
Thanks for posting this comparison. I have both Studio One 6.5 and Cubase 12. Been on Studio One recently for it's simple GUI, low CPU, and Softube Console 1 MK3. I was recently thinking about this as I was creating instrument tracks for my Moog Minitaur and Subsequent37 (like, these Instrument tracks aren't terrible but there is something clunky about it). Your post, plus Steinberg's videos with Chromeo a few years ago makes me think I should roll with Cubase again. Sometimes, Cubase GUI is "TMI" and the high contrast brightness is not subtle (I've been lazy about customizing; could give it a go again).

Primarily use Studio One but got Cubase recently... And Cubase is giving me issued with Arpeggios not syncing and like skipping a beat...
Hey bro I don’t know if this will help. But I think once it’s set up you won’t have these issues. But I’m like you should it should be automatic
I don't have and hardware synths, but I found these two videos that might help with your problem. Pretty sure you already know this stuff. Heres the links: th-cam.com/video/Wc-SOxMVIkU/w-d-xo.html and th-cam.com/video/JfdUtczw4rI/w-d-xo.html. The second link is what you wan, but he mention needing the first video if you haven't done it. Hopefully this helps. Keep up the good work. Thinking about getting Cubase myself. I still have a few days before my trial ends. I don't know if I should still.
