Hi I am hoping that maybe you can help me with another issue. I have a 2017 BMW F25, besides the SINE internal low battery error, I am also having a “DSC Low Voltage In Vehicle” error in ISTA (there are no errors on the dash). I already bought a new battery for the bmw thinking that it might have been a battery related issue (but I guess it’s not). I tested the voltage for the ground and positive wires going to the DSC module. I noticed that the voltage drops (to 10 volts) when locking/unlocking the vehicle and the voltage steadily reaches back to 12/13volts after 10 seconds or so. Therefore, I was able to narrow down the problem and found out that ISTA only picks up the error when starting the vehicle right after unlocking it (during the voltage drop period ). I don’t get the error if I wait for 10 seconds or more (once the voltage has reached back to 12/13volts) and then start the engine. Do you have any idea what it could be ? Thanks in advance!
Hi, I think I had this error some time ago. I think it was the car's battery, it was slowly dying. I have refurbished the battery and didn't have that error since then. Did you install your new battery? Try to install it. Don't forget to register new battery and give the car 3 hours to adapt to the new battery by not starting the car. I have a video regarding this topic.
@ hi there, yes, I bought a new battery from bmw and I followed your steps from the video on how to register it . The car also sat for a few hours after I installed the new battery.

Hi friend , are the new batteries rechargeable or just lithium (none rechargeable)?
Hi. Non-rechargeable.
@ thank you!

@ okay thanks! I’ll check out what Ista says and google to see what others have done to fix this issue :)
Nice vid,
Thanks!
