When we traded Brown, all my judgement was clouded but now that I think about it. This was an amazing draft for us
That's great to hear- I was thrown off but I really do believe we will be better in sooooo many areas
I was definitely suprised, but haven't been among Hollywood's biggest fans to be perfectly honest. All the speed in the world doesn't matter when you get clamped in press, tackled by the first defender to make contact and can't be counted on to win on contested catches. I loved his personality and wish him the best, but we need something different than what Hollywood can provide.

They think we didn't address our WR situation but by drafting a couple of TEs we did. Our O was at its best when we had Hurst and Andrews for Lamar to throw to

Definitely did not think he would be on the board at 14. Happy with this pick. Talented player. He’ll fit right in.
When Detroit traded up to #12, a lot of folks thought Hamilton would be the pick. It would've made perfect sense to have added the best safety in draft to go along with the best pass rusher. In the end, it worked out for everybody because the Lions added Kerby Joseph in the third round.

Even Roger told Kyle ‘you’re going to a great organization/defense’. He knew, Kyle was definitely a little hurt he didn’t go in the top 10. I thought he’d be gone by 14. Once he slipped past 10, my mind was racing for us to snag him. So happy we got him, what he brings physically will allow the defense to matchup well down the road. Not often you see a 6’4 versatile safety. Especially slipping past his value as a premier player.
Great value and Kyle got special talent and physical profile and Him not having to play the deep 3rd with Williams in & the things the Ravens can do with them 2 & chuck with either kyle playing in the box , blitzing or whatever can hide his weaknesses it’s a great pick
@@SRT8KASH dude, plus we have Marcus Williams now… he can be that deeper cover 3 safety that can patrol the defensive backfield… Idk what we’re going to do with Chuck but he can also play that role. Hamilton just gives us so much versatility and switch ability with bigger offensive players. I always equate football to chess, Hamilton is like a Queen in chess. Move him all over the board and he’s going to thrive because of his size and skillset. I hope he talks to Marlon and starts going for strips and ball punches. But don’t go overboard like Marlon does, secure that tackle 😂 Hamilton is gonna be a superstar, I can feel it. We secured a gem. 2 gems 💎 💎 if you count Linderbaum 👀

Im so happy that we didn't get Jordan Davis because we gotten a great player and a huge steal in Hamilton. If we would have pick Jordan Davis. We wouldn't have drafted a another steal in the 3rd round with the DT Travis Jones

You could tell EDC was overwhelmed because he was set up for Jordan Davis and luckily Hamilton did drop to 14. Unfortunately for Hamilton he probably instantly knew he would be in the Ed Reed talk due to being in Baltimore he seemed a little nervous himself

You could tell EDC still nervous when he does the calls He told Hamilton at the end ..that "we are about to turn the card in so watch the TV you'll see yourself" when Hamilton was actually at the draft and would be walking🚶♂️across the stage when they call his name lol..good stuff there

I admit, I wanted Davis there, til the Eagles jumped us. I was disappointed (not at getting Kyle but at losing out on the player I thought was perfect for us), until we got Jones at 76. Totally worth losing out.

Even if Jordan Davis was available, I'd still pick Hamilton. The secondary was the biggest weakness, especially with how bad the CB depth is. A phenomenal safety can help the LBs and CBs, Hamilton and Williams up top will add a TON to the defense that they didn't have before

Great pick EDC !! I gotta say that one thing I have always hated about the draft is when I hear fans booing ( not that I heard it here but it happens a lot) . I don't care what team picks these kids but they have worked their butts off to realize this dream and if you can't be happy for them , then you need to take a long look at yourself.

Decosta and Harbaugh said at pick 10 they was hoping Hamilton was still there at 14,Thank goodness for the run on wideouts this guy was mocked at the 2 pick most of the off-season.We got lucky.He seems pretty mature as well which is big.I was hoping someone took Davis before us I just never had a good feeling picking a 2 down run stuffer at 14.If he effects the field like a healthy Derwin James or even better and Ojabo and Jones are as advertised our defense is gonna be feared again.I know nothing is a lock but he seems pretty close I mean his floor is NFL starter his ceiling is probably best safety in the NFL and we know a thing or 2 about good safeties and their impact in Baltimore.

I think Kyle is just a mellow guy. If you see other clips of him talking pre-draft he’s the same way
Still, you should be grateful. Especially as a defensive player going to a defensive organization. I didn’t like his reaction at all. But I’m happy to have him & I know he’ll ball out. But since we already signed Marcus Williams I believe we should of drafted Jermaine Johnson. Luckily, there are some huge names at edge rusher & WR in FA RN. Can we afford them? That’s a different story.

I think Ravens thought Eagles were trading up for Hamilton and not Davis. Hamilton was the guy if he was at 14, everyone seemed shocked he was there

Think he was more in shock he was still not drafted yet. Then relieved he was. He seemed very excited with his press conference and interview.
