This is real! My family ate home butchered hogs ( buckets of lard ), wild game and fish ,raw dairy, and a large garden. Poor and very healthy! In the ‘80s things changed and cancer, autoimmune disorders, etc. started.
It is real! My grandparents raised me and they made traditional foods. My grandpa is still kicking at 82... beat cancer twice. I used to hate my wide angular jaw, but now I appreciate knowing I was being fed well in my youth
For dairy free frozen dessert my great aunt who grew up on a traditional animal farm based diet rural southeast Mexico used to make make “bolis” or Mexican freeze-e pops with natural coconut cream, dried coconut meat shavings, grated pecans, cinnamon, and her own ground allspice. They were heaven. Don’t forget the importance of traditional herbs and spices that strengthen many systems in the body when properly used and add a dimension of enjoyment to food that puts sugar high to shame without damaging your health.
YES, YES, YES! 2 sons now 19yrs & 15yrs. Removed grains and excess sugar 5 yrs ago, changed to mostly meat 12mths ago. Dramatic changes in so many areas.
I know this is an older video, but really when the Industrial Revolution started that’s when everything went downhill including our health. When seed oils were introduced that’s when the Heart Association had to be started, etc. Generations ago everything was home grown, home cooked, we were more active, etc. so many things that have made life “easier” have come at a cost to our health. I’m by no means healthy but I’m working on it and taking things about health that ladies such as these are sharing and doing what works for me personally. Thank you
This is great! We need more discussions like this. So much misinformation out there at the moment. My 2 year old eats mostly animal foods, fruit, and root veggies. I mix liver into his diet in various different ways. People always make remarks about how well he eats, but we've never had junk food in the house. Even though he has it on special occasions, he knows that it's not really food.
Great discussion gals,I'm passing it on to others.Thankfully my 13yr old happily-eagerly eats carnivore based with no issues what so ever. Thanks for getting the message out there you two!
Honestly my dog, who is a raw carnivore, eats healthy and more real food than most people. He won't even touch anything that isn't animal based. If we did this for kids (cook food) then they would be so much healthier.
Loved this!! I nourish my family in a similar way to what you described. I would really like to up our intake of organ meats. Do you have that recipe for the beef heart jerky? I would love to give it a try! Thanks!
I had a pretty unhealthy summer. Been eating high fat, nutrient dense animal foods and organ meats for like a week now. My mood is already leveled, productivity is up, and just in general think I look better when I see my reflection im the mirror. It’s wild
And thank you for making and sharing this video! I’ve been eating a meat-based diet for a few years, but still sometimes have that internal struggle of wondering how many carbs I should be allowing my daughter each day, just because (like you said) I don’t want her to develop disordered eating or go on a 5 year long carb and junk food binge when she moves out. She’ll be 3 years old next month and I’m so very fortunate that she is a meat lover. She naturally eats mostly animal products. 🙏🏼❤️ She eats very similar to how you describe your kids eating, so that’s a comfort to me.
Such a good point about the kids menus. They are often so boring and uninspiring. Not only that, they aren’t healthy! If you find a place with a good kids menu then that is great
Thanks! Is there a way to heal nerves with food or herbs? How long does it take to see effect? I've gone mostly meat but does it mean 100% meat and nothing else? Or meat with veggies? Is almond butter good? Seems low on carbs but I was feeling good yesterday, ate almond butter and today I feel horrible, nerves in my neck are irritated. Sorry for all the questions, I just want to feel better and I'm learning.
Why peel and de-seed cucumbers? I always peel my cucumbers to reduce the fiber, bitter taste, and pesticide exposure, but I don’t de-seed them. Should I be? I only buy the English variety that have very small seeds.
My problem is my kids are already 10 and 9 and have grown up on the s.a.d. since I didn't know better until recent years. Not everyone in my house is on board. Any suggestions for getting my kids to eat more protein and fat?
Same here... I'm keto for 2 years, but wife is not on same page and whatever i do or say about that ( I watched TONS OF VIDEOS) it makes her defensive and out son is 10- I desperately need help HOW to serve her these information so she at least consider to think about it, READ about it, watch..,.?😲
@@fortheloveofsanity7024 not sure that might be the best strategy... If carb addition is real(seems like it is) then it's like going with alcoholic to to night out and let him pick what you gonna drink and tell him it's just, let's say, once a week.....? That why I desperately looking for some quality make sense educational material for kids so they understand..... EVERYBODY now taking about it, but almost nobody focus on kids-!! Almost only what I hear is-weight lost, weight lost weight lost.... But it all starts with the kids!!
Great jaw line Judy, nice and wide. .....WOW!! . . . Avocados are slightly poisons that new to me. Give us our daily saturated fat I do eat the fruit of the Yew Tree mind you.
@40:00 why does she keep saying "vegetables" when every food she referred to was fruit?? Tomatoes, cucumbers, bell peppers, berries, and apples are all fruit not vegetables.

I'd love to hear more about how you deal with food served outside the home.

This is fantastic! I wish I had the nutrition knowledge that I have now when my kids were young. I’ll do better when I have grandkids.

So are blueberries or bananas okay with raw cream?
If I can't find unpasteurized butter should I still eat butter?
Hi I don’t know if it’s the way your eating but your skin looks fantastic 👏🏻Also Natasha McBride talk about why you need meat in your diet.
De. LAYMAN said that we need to eat some carbs ca 100-150 g a day ?!

I need help with introducing meat and fats to my kids. How do you do it without a fight?

I only buy the English variety that have very small seeds.
Seeds are the 'toxic,' part.
Because of Lectin content

This might sound harsh..but remove all other foods out of the house.
They will have to eat it.

Start with one day of "mom/dad" picked foods. Then add one meal a day that's what you want them to eat. Then go from there
