Great video as always. Very logical explanation. It would be interesting to see the actual cutless bearing barnacles get broken apart with a camera after sitting for weeks/months at anchor. It would be a good video but camera risk would be a bit high.
Thank you for your comments. The growth was actualy more like a coral. A super hard red build-up that was hard to remove with a paint scraper. Super tough stuff.
I have the same issue with my RC boats. I found that polishing and balancing props has made a significant difference. Thanks for posting this video 🍻

Would a twin screw boat last longer if the load is spread out between the two shafts?
