Thanks. I'm aware of this jig. Seeing it applied has convinced me to buy the plans. Your presentation style is excellent. No gimmicks, good pace and clear, Thanks again
Nice build! I’ve watched Tamara’s vid too, so it’s great to see you build this. I’d be using threaded inserts rather than T nuts, so you can sink them in a little 👍
@@BrettsWoodshop yeah I see you released the plans for this project. I will have to check them out. I’m in the process of setting up a new shop. Had one before but I moved. You wouldn’t believe me if I told you what I found on my table saw I got from my dad. I knew he was but dam. That dammed old dementia crap. It works on you for years before you can’t function properly. You just do a lot of stupid stuff. Anyway, enough of that. Going to check out your plans and probably build your jig.
@@ChrisWhitley-tx1oz Sorry about your dad, Chris! Full disclosure, the Plans are not mine. They belong to Tamar from 3x3 Custom. However, if you wouldn't mind using my provided links to order your hardware I would appreciate the support! Happy mortising!!
You did a great job on this build! Have fun using it!
Thanks Tamar! It’s coming in very useful for my chess table build. 👍🏼
Totally 😂

Thanks for the feedback, Ralph!
Enjoy the jig!
Great tutorial on this jig it looks easy to make and works well.
Thank you very much! 🙏🏼

Yep, that’d probably be the way to go. Thanks for your input!
Thy, very well explained jig construction. better than the others I saw.
Thank you!
Thanks. Great explanation and talk through. Have her router sled combo plans and they are great-these look Equally as good.
Awesome, thank you!
Hi, nice video. I think if you put a small O ring under the head of bolt and a thin washer under the knob, it might fix the spinning head.
Good tip! Thanks!
Great job!!
Thanks man!
Well some people are a little more experienced in different types of hardware than others. I think 💭 you have some good ideas there.
Thanks Chris!

What wood did you use?
8/4 cherry and 2/4 maple
For the screws, perhaps make the holes smaller and then tap them so the screw will tighten to the hole.
Thanks. Didn’t think of that because I wasn’t expecting a problem. But that might work for someone else who sees this.
A couple of drops of CA glue on those spinning screws would freeze em up.
That would’ve done the trick, yep!… where were you when I was making it??
Use a upcut bit
I did in subsequent uses.
I just released plans on my new website! The plans are for the Project shown in this video th-cam.com/video/UrOoHZH3lL8/w-d-xo.html
I was going to watch until the first UT ad came on.
Unfortunately, I have no control over what ads get shown. Google must have thought you’d be interested.
Did you just come out of a coma from 2004?
Or maybe you have some sort of disorder?
Try mortise master
Suspiciously like Tamars jig, lol.
Did you watch it?
Or see the pinned comment from Tamar?
He said that he bought the plans from her.
If time and ease of use are no issue, then this might be the thing to do. Otherwise: Use a Domino. I'll never go back after getting mine...
Crazy expensive!
