Thank you for that improved uni knot!!! I agree, palomar has been my all time favorite but it's rather a hassle to tie onto a leader because you need to fish the whole setup through the loop. This looks like it wont slip out. I have had very bad experiences losing leaders because braid and uni knots slip out
Same here. have you been had a couple missed and lost Riggs with the improved clinch knot but never once have I lost a rig wrapping the line through an extra 3 times at the end

Fell in love with the normal just catch n cook videos simple just fishin catching n cooking n fun taking. No music bs no extra this n that just cool shots on your bike love the videos!

But to that I need to say, do your research and find out what species and organisms affect other certain marine life!

Man, you can make full blown documentary films as far as I'm concerned. The longer the better! I once caught the same fish on successive casts. I hooked a freshwater perch but sadly, I hooked it in the eye and as I landed the fish the eye pulled out! Yeh, gross and I felt really bad. I put my rod down to deal with the poor fish not realising the bobber was in the water with the eye still on the hook. You know where I'm going with this right? Yep, the released perch swam straight to the hook and ate it's own eyeball!!!
with your float rig, make sure you put a split sinker to match the float (match the water buoyancy) So when the fish take a hit, it won't be as shy because you want the fish to feel natural when they pull down the float
You can reduce tangles even further on that double fluke rig by adding a little bead between the lower swivel and the top swivel. We do this with a sliding sinker rig in South Africa when rock fishing.
