- Recording on the same day as Don't Bother Me, on the 11th September 1963 in just 2 takes, with more additional overdubs of Piano and Harmonica made the following day. Along with more additional changes om the 3rd October, 1963.
From what I can hear on the isolated tracks for this song, it was performed in a very similar style to the BBC recording of Clarabella. The basic rhythm track consisting of Paul on Bass, Ringo on Drums, John on Harmonica and George on Rhythm Guitar.
From listening to the Isolated tracks it definitely doesn't sound like there are 2 guitars in the mix, and the session photographs seem to confirm the theory, showing John's Rickenbacker 325 sitting far behind on the studio floor, with John recording Harmonica into a vocal mic and George with his Gretsch Country Gentleman.
The only real notable part of the Rhythm Guitar is at 0:54 when George hits the higher octave E note on the A string before continuing to strum the chords. (This can be heard in the Isolated Tracks for the song)

The sound of the Gent is so wonderfull
Couldn't agree more Lukas :)
It's so great that you have your own style of playing and it is especially cool that you do covers of things that most people probably wouldn't know about!
Thank you man! I try my best, especially when they're videos not many others have tried before lol! :)
Sick
Thank you mate :)
Hell yeah, cracked the code once again dude! Awesome to hear another buried guitar part. Is there a way to clone your hearing? lol 😂
Haha! No need for that, all you need is isolated tracks ;)
Rarely covered Beatles song.
Well done!!❤️🙏🎼.x
Thank you!
George was an underrated rhythm guitarist.
awesome Luca!!, I was thinking, can u do some Beatles solo songs?, I'd love to hear JL Mind Games, GH Wah Wah, PM Band On The Run, RS Photograph
Glad you enjoyed man! I'll get round to some of those one day haha! :)
Fantastic playing 😊❤
Thank you man! :)
also what pickup select did u use because i can't tell from the strings ur playing
I'm playing with the neck pickup! :)
@@LucaColaMusic so cool!
i'm confused. in the original version is there two guitar tracks or just one?
I can only hear one guitar track playing under the piano part. I assume it to be George's guitar, because like the BBC recordings of Clarabella and I've got to find my baby, John plays Harmonica and George plays Rhythm, so I assume its the same on the album recording!
@@LucaColaMusic oh right! but some say that they are 2 guitar tracks played by john and george so i'm pretty confused. all i know is these 2 guitar tracks sounds pretty much the same but john's guitar part uses slightly different chords. try check out beatles revisited little child isolated rhythm guitar for proof.
@@thewhaleking I definitely wouldn't count they're video as proof haha. But I would count the isolated tracks as proof. In my opinion there's only one guitar playing haha. I'm not saying me covers proof either, just that I believe it was George in rhythm
@@LucaColaMusic oh alright :)
It sounds so much like kurt cobain, it seems like he really loves beatles.
Remember hearing somewhere he liked And I Love Her!
@@LucaColaMusicYeah, he recorded a demo
