Yeah, the white ZR2 I originally ordered in January still isn't at the dealer. The numerous TPW pushes is what led me to find this beautiful unclaimed Desert Boss 🏜😍
@@Napomsfreedom still waiting, said it was to be built week of 10/30 but now its pushed until first week of December. I'm about to get the Better Business Bureau involved since this order is for a 2023 (they aren't making them in 2024) and by the time it gets built if at all it will be 2024.
This is NOT the truck I ordered. I originally ordered a Summit White ZR2 that was supposed to be produced the 3rd week of ZR2 production. But the production kept getting pushed back, and the car I was driving kept getting older and less reliable, so I had to find something. I searched Chevy Inventory and found this one In Transit to Banks Chevrolet in COncord, New Hampshire, contacted them, learned it was unclaimed, and put my money down. No mark up. Straight MSRP. VERY easy Fly and Buy purchase. Great people to deal with @Banks Autos.
@chrisdemas8246 Yeah - I originally ordered a regular ZR2 - that one is showing produced - but still hasn't made it to my local dealer . . . I needed to make a decision after 6 TPW changes and opted to upgrade and do the Fly and Buy for the single year trim level . . . Loving it so far!
No, I went buy COuntry Chevrolet in Warrenton, VA over the weekend, got my deposit back, and used that to purchase a tonneau cover and the floor liners . . . and still had $$ left over for more mods and ice cream 🙂
So far I have only filled her up twice. Both times the calculated at the pump mpg was around 17.5 mpg, which is a bit better than the EPA estimate of 16. Bear in mind that I am idling it a lot as I learn the features of the infotainment center and every now and then goofing it to feel the torque. I didn't buy it for mpg's and I am happy that she is, so far, doing better than the 15mpg of my 2002 Tundra.
It's all dependent on right foot discipline Oh, and I just discovered Baja mode - Feels like the sports mode - can really feel the torque and it activates the "Performance Shifting" -So I expect this tank to be a bit less ;-) @@awpel2
looking from the side at 0.08 the sport light bar looks way to tall for the truck I think chevy screwed that up it looks ridiculous. I think the bar should of been lower and then they should of used a mount to get the light bar up high enough. my 2021 zr2 with sport bars looks like it was designed for the truck and looks sleek but yours looks like a aftermarket F up and then the rails all the way to the back keeps you from reaching over the side to reach something. I was very disappointed in the new Colorado's I think they missed the mark on many things. but as long as people like you buy crap like that i am sure they don't care. the soft finishes will not last as long as hard surface, but all these sissy boys want their trucks to be like car inside which is ridiculous. these new models with be throw aways in a matter of a few yrs.to much crap to go wrong and will be to costly to fix after the warranty has expiries.
I almost bought a Gen 2 ZR2 Bison, but missed it by a day and opted to go for the Gen 3. I originally wasn't a fan of the extended sports but it has really grown on me and I like it. With the 3 inch factory lift, unless you are 6 foot five or taller, you aren't reaching over the sides to get things out of the bed anyway. I'm putting on a tonneau cover anyway, so that doesn't matter. Glad you are happy with your Gen 2. Great truck that will last a long time. I think Chevy hit it out of the park with the Gen 3's. It brought me over from the Toyota Camp. So for now this "sissy boy" is quite happy with his new truck. 👍
I bought a Colorado Trail Boss July 3rd, I now have 600 miles on it , I payed 41,200 for it with a lot of options,,I will say one thing,, your truck would look so much better if you removed that hideous roll bar thing off the back!
