@@og951 Thanks so much O G. We really appreciate it. Be sure to let us know in the comments if there are topics or subjects that you'd like us to cover. Thanks again. Ritch & Eric
Well, I need to give this podcast and it's hosts their due.... I love that this begins where it all starts: desire, passion, dedication, diving in to the unknown...and a lot of crappy 7-Eleven coffee. The Artist's journey, and the journey for those who support the Artist, which is an art in and of itself. Before all the business bullet points, it's gotta start with heart. And I think a lot of young people don't consider this enough. They see money, fame, Grammies...but NONE of that happens unless the intangibles are present. Too many don't look in the mirror and deeply consider whether they are truly willing to go the warrior's way, where money, fame, etc., is awarded long after the journey has begun, and only if one can persevere through years of struggle, without losing sight on the prize. And it all starts with the passion Mr. Salcido, Ritch, Eric, and others felt from the very beginning. LOVE that this kicked off the video. From there, and because of their dedication, the conversation moves to solid and fascinating information on just on stuff works. The questions are specific, well-considered, and address nuance where SO many interviews don't. I am not in the music industry. I'm an actor and this podcast was recommended because of course, much the stuff presented here applies to any art-based industry, and beyond. For instance, when Mr. Salcido talks about "gut" when choosing to work with an artist AND their management. No different for actors choosing representation, or a Director choosing a script and the next project. A rep might have a great roster, but are they right for that actor? Sometimes what looks shiny and wonderful can turn out to be dull and a massive headache and a waste of PRECIOUS time. Since success isn't painting by the numbers, it often boils down to following one's gut and the willingness to forego two birds in the hand, so to speak. Sounds un-scientific, almost random, but in fact, knowing and following gut is a CORNERSTONE of the music and film industries. My goodness, if I was younger, wanted to go down the music industry road, this master class, these podcasts, would be a must, and I'd be taking notes.
Hi Eric, thanks so much for the AMAZING comments here, we’re very grateful to you. We’re blown away and glad that the show made such an impact, especially considering that you aren’t even in the industry directly. When we get a guest such as Kenny who is SO passionate & knowledgeable about what he’s doing it makes our time doing these interviews so magical, because we’re feeding off that energy from the guest. Again many thanks and we hope that you get to check out the other content here on the channel. MUBUTV

I've worked in a lot of studios and have always wanted to do a project at Red Bull ever since I saw Tony Royster Jr record on the Awolnation track.
Great! So glad you’re continuing to get value from these. MUBUTV
