Love how you were doing DB rows by planting side you're rowing in front of you instead of behind. I think you're right about not needing the direct hamstring work and can work it in with back/quads, at least at this point in the year. I find back so difficult to work out. To actually get a pump on every part of the back musculature I can see on my human musculature poster is pretty tricky. I have to take 2-3 seperate days to get it done or I don't hit it all some weeks. Makes a visible difference though and I can see pumps on my back for the first time ever. Bumps I never knew I could have as a natty. I watched some Chris Bumstead and some Nick and it's been helping. I spent so many years cluelessly doing nothing for back except deadlifts lol. Gosh some advice online is bad...
Definitely one of the hardest muscles to train and really feel that connection with. Some of the popular exercises just don’t feel right for me. I tried almost every machine in my gym to find which I actually feel my back. A lot of times it’s just my rear delts burning and my arms.
Awesome timing as im watching this,drinking preworkout before killing a back workout.I've never liked doing underhand barbell rows.Cant get a good grip using the reverse grip.I can smash 3 plates on a regular barbell row but 3 plates underhand and its rolling off the palm of my hands.The ez bar is pretty good for reverse rows.
Nick and Hunter are gonna bring Olympia back to greatness of past generations. @Nick with the 1st exercise, straight arm cable pull downs, have you considered doing them single arm? You can get hand back further behind pelvis line, increasing contraction.

Yeah I thought pull-ups were enough to build a nice back it wasn’t I just had huge lats and that was it extreme muscle imbalance

I had a similar problem, but mine was always that my back was stronger than my hands and arms so my back would always tire last in any exercise.

You can also use a Vulken strap or cable attachment. He has used these in the past.
Single arm is way better in my opinion. You can exactly line up the lats with the cable. The contraction also feels a lot better imo
