This is the biggest IU football game since IU played in the Rose Bowl my freshman year. Back then the Big 10 sent a team to the Rose Bowl every year. My memory may be bad, but I think it had a rule that a team could not play in the Rose Bowl in consecutive years. In any case, I decided NOT to go to the game since I would have had to use most of my spending money fund for the second semester, and I would have been a "pauper" for the second semester. I rationalized that IU had a good team and I would SURELY get another chance in my remaining 3 years. Each fall I started the year with a Rose Bowl Fund. When I graduated I still had that money . . . LOL
@@indianacreekwalker4474 That will only get you so far. He need production with high level talent to be a top program. Don't tell me you didn't watch how we responded to Michigan's physicality. Same with OSU. I love what Cig is doing but we need to elevate the level of a lot of the guys. While IU may be a winner, they will struggle to be elite without elite talent.
I guess my only question is Cig wanted an NIL commitment, assume he got it...does any know the amount? So why not go for a 4*star wr, ol, or dl? If just one this roster needs to continue to upgrade, cant keep going back to same well expecting the same results when everyone else is upgrading and re-tooling as well. Obviously what do i know im a couch qb, but i just seen were trying to flip a Ball State qb commit. Can we not get better? Imo now is the time to strike when the irons hot, is he saving for next year to go big in recruiting? Wth do i know anyways.

Probably doesn't have the type of money to get the big boys
I don't share your enthusiasm ... Cig said they're looking for a QB, it looks like it ain't gonna happen ... They signed a ton of 3-star guys but only a single 4-star player ... that's why 8-4 next season would be a real success!
Well, I have to say that commit from Western Kentucky that Wheeler guy, I watched him tonight in that bowl game. He didn’t look impressive to me. He’s a big guy. He’s strong, but he’s slow. I think Indiana could do better than him.
It's about production chasing stars doesn't always guarantee what you bought. This coach does analysis on character, team mate chemistry, hobbies everything. Though it's not a "sexy" commit, many forget he took a bunch of Sun Belt, MAC, and some P4 players and went 11-1 with a team with the most losses in cb history. People can argue schedule all they want this is still Indiana and the BIG is still the BIG beating those teams that previously pounded IU.
@@mattcroddy4691 Amen..I trust Cig. Lol. Obviously. Like you said, if he likes a kid and goes and gets him...I think there's a reason for it. After seeing this year, Cig obviously has high expectations and knows what he's doing.
U must not know much about recruiting and how hard it is to get a kid from the state of texas to come to indiana thats not embarrassing considering texas and texas a&m were after that kid. The only thing embarrassing is your comment
Yeah i agree with you if just because texas state is not that good of a teem doesn't mean there's not a good player there's always a great player on a bad team @@adammatschullat195
@@adammatschullat195 Nice one! It’s OK, these fools will finally realize the center of college football is now in Indiana. Go Hoo, Hoo, Hoo , Hoosiers!!!
Giving you the sub dude! Good luck getting to 4k
Rourke is from Canada! I believe it cold there.
Exactly! Rourke made his bones in Ontario for crying out loud.

I am going to trust Coach bc he knows how to develop talent. He has proved he can do that thos year for sure.

Are you going to the game tomorrow?
I wouldn’t call pulling 3* players dominating. Eventually you need players that are OSU and Michigan level.
with the coach we have, he isn't looking at the stars my boy, hes looking at the production levels

in their defense it is a smidge colder up there 😂 as of now it will be 34 degrees in Bloomington; 31 degrees in South Bend Friday :)
Game time real feel temp in the upper teens dropping to lower teens as it goes; not including wind gusts 10-20 mph.
Lol gotta love all the haters 😂
Go Hoosiers...

IU is getting thrashed tonight.
Is Kamara coming back or going to the draft?
24/7 ranks IU's transfer porta class at #28 I suppose that could be called decent but its not great for a Top 20 or Top 10. team.
I don't see anyone of note transferring in tbh
IU is the "Larry Bird" of football, may not be the fastest, but they are the smartest. Outsmart and Beat the Catlickers! Go IU!!!
Jacob, I click on your stuff a lot but then click off because your intro is TOO long. Just get to the point.
Agree
Yea. As a hoosier fan. This podcast sucks
Well it is a podcast… maybe you can create clip farm for us for all to see the highlights
