Can I add this to a gs 350 2009? I don't use the tape deck or cd changer. It has the non mark lev and has nav. But I'd really like to add an addition unit like this one on your video.
Unfortunately this kit is not compatible with your 2009 GS 350 as the side panels will not fit. Also, this kit is only compatible with models without factory nav. I apologize for the inconvenience.
Another question guys. In the process of installing this so far it's working great. However, I have 3 grounds: 2 from the beat sonic interface and one from my pioneer 4200NEX. D I need to ground all three of these together? Is it redundant to do that, or do I only need to ground one? This is my first time installing a head unit and thanks so far for all the great customer service. I'll call Sam tomorrow, but want to get this harness all done tonight.
+Cyber Profiler I apologize for the late reply. I hope this answer finds you in a timely manner. All 3 grounds need to be connected to the car's chassis. You may either ground all three separately, or ground them together for a cleaner install.

Yes, connecting the gold hooks to the factory bracket provides good ground connection.
I have a Scosche LS2151B dash kit installed, but the audio output through their adapters are terrible. Would you happen to know if I can use this adapter and still retain the HVAC controls on the Scosche kit? Thanks!
Regretfully, we don't have any experience with the Scosche kit and cannot recommend to use both Scosche and our kit together. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Just another question which may be helpful to others also. Are those bullet connectors the 5/32 connectors? I purchased these and they are a tight fit, with is the way it's supposed to. Just want to confirm I purchased the correct ones.

Unfortunately we don't offer installation for stereo replacements. Any local stereo shop can easily achieve this.
i used the axxess steering control interfave and doesnt work for me... any advice on a good steering wheel control adapter i noticed you dont show the programming for the pac one you are using.. tha thank you

Do you guys know where the reverse wire is for the rear camera for this car (as in the color/location of the wire). Also, in the wiring diagram for this harness says not to wire the rears (speakers)as it is not necessary. Is this correct?
The reverse wire on a 2009 Lexus IS250 with OEM NAV will be located at the reverse light bulb. The connector will be gray in color. Pin#2, which is colored light green will provide positive power. The color of the wire and pin out may vary based on car trim and year. Please use a test light or multimeter to test the current and confirm before tapping for reverse power for the back-up camera.

i can just power the camera by wiring to acc on unit and grounding to the units black as well?
Depending on the headunit will require you to connect the backup camera's power to either a backup trigger such as your reverse light or power accessory wire. Please refer to the instructions manual for your headunit on which way to connected the back up wire.
Why is the PAC steering controller required? I thought the beatsonic kit comes with the steering interface.
The SLX-140L provides the necessary wires to connect the OEM steering wheel audio control
buttons to the aftermarket head unit. However, most of the current aftermarket headunits require a separate interface due to the design of how it takes the the steering wheel control signals in.
I purchased this from your website but I bought the wrong one without navi, the installer was like you should have bought the with navi. Is there any way I can exchange it? I purchased it a few months back but never got around to installing it until now.

Hi,where can i buy the screws what you bolt in(the side with the 2 plates that come with the kit) in the aftermarket 2din,because i bough a used 2din but i did not know thats those screws are not in the slx kit.
I bought a kenwood dnx8220bt so are the screws the same as you use in the video?
You may purchase the missing screws at a local hardware store such as Home Depot or Lowe's
The screws should be very similar depending on the radio you purchased.
Do you have to bypass the factory amp at all or is this simply plug and play with this kit?

Hi, I used the PAC TATO JBL Amplifier Turn-On Interface for Toyota Vehicles to connect a new pioneer system to my 2007 Lexus is250. The problem I am running into is that I have also lost connection to my temperature control. It appears that the PAC plug which goes into the factory outlet also controls the temperature control on my OEM radio. Any help?

What's the reason for this not fitting models with manual transmission? Are the side panels different?
If so, do you have another model for IS with manual or could this be modified to fit one?

Correct, the side panels are different. You will be left with a large gap if you install this kit to your manual model. Unfortunately we do not have another model for the manual IS. Modification is possible but will involve more work than typical radio replacement work.
I am looking at trying this for my manual IS, apart from the filler panels not fitting, everything else should suit fine from what ive seen, yes? The ashtray sits the same in both models id assume, its just the plastics around the shifters that differ between the models but apart from that the rest seems to be the same in both.

Correct. The dash kit will not fit your manual center console.
I have the 08 is250 canadian vehicle. A couple audio shops have informed me there will be problems with after market head units and the climate control on my car. Is this true? If so, any way to make sure it will be installed correctly with no issues?
Correct if you remove the factory radio you will lose climate controls. If you use our adapter you won’t have any issues

Then you need to either get a new amp or bypass the factory amp. Best to consult with a local stereo shop
Hi Lexus lovers, I'm having this issue "no sound from the stereo" I just replaced the nav and radio also check the amp and is good, but still no sound from the stereo. No fusse problems either.
I just realized that the radio has no power what could it be the problem??

2005 Lexus IS is a different vehicle with totally different infotainment system. As such it will not be compatible.
