Doggy Style, thanks for your positive reply. Keep in mind you will have to reuse the factory mounting brackets from your original radio. Nice head unit that I only wish came out years sooner.

I have an aftermarket front and rear camera, there is a reverse trigger and RCA video input for both so if it's what the factory uses then you should be good. Glad I could help.

I also have an aftermarket unit from China as well, but it's the 10.2inch one. The wires look very similar to yours but I'm not sure if I need to connect the rubber capped wires to any electricals. Also, did you install a backup camera too this unit or planning on to? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
Hi, I'm not sure which rubber capped wires your referring to. The RCA cables? I installed a front view camera in place of the rear since my rear view cam is connected to my rear view mirror.

why is the dash so chewed up around the vents? I see that a lot on you tube 06-13 iS. Maybe lots of painters tape needed for these cars or is it just amature installers wrong pry places wrong tools ?

I plugged inn all the wires as you said but now when I turn on my car, the emergency flasher light flashes 3 times and some time it stays turn on and keeps flashing. Is the center plug for the emergency light takes the same plug? do you have any solution?

Anyways, did you connect your harnesses the same way as in this video by not using that extra connector they provided? Do you have any other issues besides the airbag light?

But european and US models normally should have the airbag-light issue. In the thread above i show how i solved this with two resistors.
to answer the second question: yes I have a kind of distored sound in high volume and the rear speakers seem not to work properly. Besides that Android 4.4 is a problem: My Unit has something plenty of GBs space (on the paper). In fact it is somehow splitted in two partitions. And the one with the system on it has only around 2GB of space which mostly is already used by the system apps themself. The other part is listed as external SD card. And unfortunately Android 4.4 doesn't allow to install apps on the external SD card -.- So most of the space is useless.
