I'm just passionate about their mission to reduce food waste in the world. I tried it out on three different locations in NYC and was shocked by the results! I recommend giving out food instead. The shit comes later.

no, this must take off. there's just too much food being thrown out. every day i walk home in nyc, i see all these clear garbage bags with bread and bagels being thrown out of stores and diners that closed for the day. this should never be.
Well, it’s going great here in the UK. We regularly order one - can be variable, but you soon get to know the best.
I just did my first two good to go and I pick it up tomorrow. I’m excited to see what I get. This is a wonderful concepts. And it’s from my favorite bakery

I'll have to try this out next time I'm in NY! What other kind of resturtants do they have? I've watched some videos in London and they even have sushi!

Great video! I was love that u donated it same happened to me i got a bag of beautiful treats that I cant eat but i handed it out to the homeless it was amazing how many smiles and thankyous warmed my heart for just 6 bucks :) Thanks for this video

@Luxe Minds: Thank you for making and sharing this video. I had saw commercials about good to go and I was glad to see a review video.
NY is an expensive state when it comes onto some things, especially NYC. Some of the prices they charge for food and fun is ridiculous. Sometimes I feel like we as the residents are paying for the name NYC and the fact that it is a popular tourist borough.
It was a shame to see that the only thing the restaurant gave you was dessert. I was expecting to see food. Like an entree and a side. But I would be lying if I said I was surprised. After all it is NY and the city at that.
Sorry to hear that you were disappointed with the pizzeria food. I felt like it made up for the restaurant. I was happy to at least see meals and two at that.

Thank you for watching! They've been adding new places every day with more options. Try it out and see how it works out! I think the groceries were most worth it for me personally. NY is definitely overpriced across the board but I guess that's the downside to living in one of the most popular cities in the world!

Yea as much as I love NY, one of the cons are the expensive prices.
prices are like from another planet compared to those here in Portugal. Here 19.50 US dollars you can get an incredibly well prepared and hearty meal with everything included and probably a $5 tip too.

I'm obsessed with the app at the moment. We just had our first chain go live this past month in Missouri. I've gotten 9 bags so far. I love to cook, but I've been enjoying having some time off and spend less money than normal. I hope more companies come on board. This was 2 years ago, are you still using this app?
We use the app since december 2019. It is in Holland since 2018. So we use it a good year. And we go to the baker and the lidl. You also can to a supermarket. You pay for the box from Lidl 2,99. You get leftover veggies and fruits. And the baker is 4.99 we get at least 3 breads and a pie or sandwhiches. and sometimes buns. Or everything when you order 2 boxes. And they are pretty expensive when you buy then seperated. So I buy sometimes 2 depends what your get on bread and extra pies and sandwhiches. The lidl is something we get twice a week. We cook a lot and we eat a lot of fruit and my daughter is more a fruit eater then a veggie eater. But still i cook veggies for the family and we save a lot of money. The only thing i dont buy is from the supermarket because i dont own a car. And the gas station the boarders are closed.

Super leuk, wij doen het ook al een aantal jaar. Lidl en bakker doen wij ook veel en vaak ook 1 van de supermarkt per week daarmee kook ik dan veel :) wat ik ook super leuk vind is op vakantie iets op te halen maar dan meer de luxe lekkere dingen natuurlijk :)
i just tried this last night but two of the restaurants I ordered from didnt have anything. I am going to try again though!

So sad they dont have this in the Seattle! I feel like with how many restaurants and people try to reduce on waste they have NO places signed up.
I really hope it expands across the US quickly. It's really taking off here in NY already.

not only does it produce less food waste, but it helps prevent price hikes since they are still making money instead of throwing it down the drain.

Always! I hate how much food goes to waste in the US and how many people are starving. I think it's our duty to try and do as much as we can to fix these gaps in our society. I think this app is a step in the right direction.

Hmm I wouldn’t normally buy any of those things so it seems like it could often be a waste.
It is a hit or miss but their options are growing every day and there's healthier ones available. You just have to be quick to book the bag.

I had mostly really bad experiences, I don't know if your review is legit, but the restaurant I've picked up mostly gave sh*$#@tty food, the worst they have. I am in long island city NY
Aw man that's annoying. I'm sure it varies region by region, my restaurants were mainly in midtown/UES and my experience has varied depending on the restaurant. I try and look at the reviews on the app and online before picking a place. Hopefully you have better luck next time.

I've tried this app twice. There's never anything available at any time. There was ONCE and the next day they cancelled it saying there wasn't enough surplus food. Waste of time.
oh no! I know it's gained a lot of popularity so they might be selling out quick since places typically only offer 5 bags. I would have to book the night before or even the morning before in advance. Sorry to hear about your experience - hopefully, more places join and there are more chances to book something.
