- I survived only on restaurant leftovers... I spent 24 hours eating only from the app Too Good To Go (a food wastage app!) This sells reduced price food to prevent food wastage! I got 8 magic bags from Costa, Greggs and Hazine and I saved A LOT of money!!

My Costa was the best one , two muffins a wrap & chicken bacon toastie. M&S was dreadful for four pound, only four cheap items. Millies cookies was 3.66 and had a big box of broken cookies wit a hair goong through it ❤

It’s such a good app! I think all of the different restaurants have different pick up times. Sometimes they are at 3pm, 5pm, 9pm etc😂 but I think they are all to pick up when the shop shuts!
I have used the app only once (local Indian restaurant and was very happy). I’m very curious to try it with a grocery shop, or maybe costa.
I have recently been testing the app and i did a coop one i got chicken thighs, 3 packs of Richmond sausages, bred and some bakery stuff all for 4 pounds!! It has forced me to cook new things and try things I wouldn't usually try as well as utalising my cubed tind stuff. Been able to make some beautiful meals i do 100% recomed x
Do you know the best day to get a Greggs bag for more options? As you went on the wrong day for pick ups?

You´re very lucky. It must be a cultural thing here in madrid, nothing is given away for almost nothing, i´ve been trying this app for about 6 weeks now, and its been so disappointing, 99% of places who give discounts are usually cake and bread shops, no cooked meals. The only thing which seems remotely good is a 3star hotel breakfast buffet, its supposed to be normally 12 euros, but the too good to go price is 4euros. Maybe i´ll give that a try this week.

You cannot expect your preferred foods or the variety that you like with this type of service. These are restaurant leftovers that would otherwise go to waste. If you do another video like this and pivot your point of view, I would be happy to give you a thumbs up.

The place is called hazine meaning treasure in Turkish, probably Turkish food, but of course it is kebab culture.
