I had a plan to visit Thailand this October, been saving up for a year and then the pandemic ruin it all 😕 Phuket is definitely one of the most wonderful places in the world that I would love to visit. Lucky you to experienced the beauty of this place!

I stayed in local hotels and booked everything through Agoda with no issues. In Bangkok I booked through agoda but it was someone's apartment so like airbnb but a great experience and beautiful city view. In Phuket, I stayed near Patong Beach at a hotel. I booked all flights through Skyscanner.
Did you get aroubd only by Tuk Tuks? We are staying at the Mandarava just by Karon and wondering the best ways to get around to the beaches, elephant sanctuary and the east of the island. Do the costs of the GrabTaxid rack up or is it hard to rely just on tuk tuks or should we rent a car?
We probably took a tuk tuk 2 times. Mainly relied on taxis. The elephant sanctuary had a pickup and drop-off included. Renting a car is probably the most affordable if you're there for a long time and plan to see a lot! We didn't find the taxi's to be too expensive but if you go to remote beaches for exploring you will have a hard time finding a taxi back unless you ask them to wait for you which is what we did.
Hi Isaac, yes totally!! It's beautiful and so many things to see. While I was there I also visited Bangkok for a few days and it was a perfect balance of relaxing in Phuket and culture/sightseeing in Bangkok. And the food in Bangkok is out of this world!! But also check out my Maldives on a Budget video on my channel - perfect honeymoon trip as well.
@@idg1216ig I think you'll get more diversity and things to do in Thailand! The Maldives is just fun in the water and sun which can be what you enjoy but if you're looking for more activities then go to Thailand! Way cheaper too :)

I wish if you stayed longer on their famous beach (I think it’s Krabi/Fi Fi beach) it’s just marvelous. I wish I can go there one day inxalla. 😍♥️
