Update: One of my main complaints was simply user error, so my bad, I apologize for not checking this more thoroughly. After posting the review a friend of mine pointed out that in the online manual of the kettle there is an instruction on how to turn off the beeping sound by pressing the hold button for 2 seconds. I just tested this and can confirm that this indeed works.
Did you ever measure the temperature accuracy with external thermometer? Is it the actual display reading? Does it overshoots? Does it hold the temp in hold mode without big fluctuations?
@@nikdeb4481 I measured it but used a cheap AliExpress thermometer so it was hard to attribute differences in measurement to the kettle as the thermometer had a +-1.5°C error margin and the deviations between the thermometer and the kettle display always fell within this range. It doesn't seem to overshoot much because it slows heating when it's almost at target. In hold mode it will cool down a bit and turn back on but with a variation of only about 1°C (based on display not separate measurement)
