This doesn't always work. But what does always work is the fire TV stick remote on Google play store. I've had to use this when all else fails. 👌
What about issue with the firestick running updates to the remote unusually often?
(Almost weekly)
Some of the cheaper batteries don't last long.
It does this all the time but a press of the middle button and it connects. No other remote I’ve ever had does this… so why on a Firestick?.
My own have big white square at the bottom of the tv
Fire app on phone is useful for this situation also
