People saying to straight pipe it let me get something straight any car no matter what it is sounds like garbage straight piped especially OBS Chevys those are the worst
@@daanielroos I touched a nerve I see it’ll be ok I know the truth hurts you’re just mad you can’t afford a BMW you posted a 97 Taurus wagon with a muffler delete on your channel 🤡🤡
@@StockTurboN20I was gonna call out your Beamer for sounding like a tractor, but then I checked the dudes video of his Taurus wagon, yeah you did struck a nerve 😂💀
@@Slow.S55 my car doesn’t sound like a tractor with the current exhaust but one that’s straight piped will absolutely sound like one I hate straight piping anything I don’t think it sounds good but I could also make fun of the S55 for sounding like a dirt bike but its still a better engine than the N20 I can take a joke man you’re all good I don’t get offended by that stuff
You talk real big for driving not a real M. You realize you're on the lower end of the totem poll and still trying to punch down? I guess your personality does match your copemobile? By the way, anyone making minimum wage can borrow money from the bank and make payments on a poverty spec BMW.
My father used to have this car but his was the 300SD Turbo Diesel it was same color and same year. But very nice video as well. It was the same style as this one. Also thanks for sharing this.
Car looks so goofy with those U.S. safety compliant front and rear bumpers. They literally just bolted them on under the non nhtsa compliant chrome bumpers. He should have put a black widow on it
Run dual 2 1/4" 'side-by-side' exhaust; two long-body (22") glass packs where the stock resonator was and two more 'regular length' (16") glass packs where the stock muffler was.....
What would the benefit of 2 sets of glass packs be? Or, what would the difference be between having just the pair of long-body or the pair of regular lengths be? Just curious.
@@angrybadger8136 it's still called TUNING the car lol. Does not matter whether you're doing it manually with a screwdriver and a distributor wrench or doing it with a handheld tuning device it's still tuning!!!
The difference was crazy😂😂😂
The Borla sounds great, and I don't usually like Borla too much. They went mellow this time, which of course suits this car. it's great!
Couldn't agree more!
Borla Atak would be perfect.
Clean car and clean sound!!! 🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁
i would try a flowfx or a magnaflow to see it if gets a little louder or not. being its a classic Mercedes I wouldn't go too loud
Nice work! 🤘🏻😎🔨 Sounds pretty good. Keep with the Borla.
borla sounds perfect
Straight pipe!!!!!!!! By far!!!!!

Do dual straight pipes 😎🤘👍👌
@ 2:32 I'm surprised at the transition point between old and new exhaust pipe.
5:40 the tips should be closer together. Straight piped sounded really good !

Why? This isn’t a watermelon person car…
Throw a set of Borla STingers on it
Straight pipe!!
Nice!
Thanks!
I currently have a Borla Pro XS and I like it a lot.
But whoever welded the new pipe to the old pipe could have done a lot better job, that was ugly 😂
why wouldn't you run a 2.5" muffler since your midpipe is 2.5"
how does a single flow better than a dual? sounds very very stock.
ProXS’s sound like nothing, a Paradox or a loooong Vibrant would have sounded so good
Should of put an x pipe in there and true dualed it.

Na, just one set under the car would sound phenomenal. I don't know what the point of this guy doing this was he didn't really change anything lol.
Use borla muffler sounds better that way
Russian mafia rolling into town 🤣🤣
Straight pipe wtf. No borla
Some shitty welds on such a nice car
That weld 😢😢
Shoulda gone straight piped
MENGA MINT!!!!
At least a borla s type, this pro xs sounds like nothing 💔😅
Those US bumpers ruin the look ☹
He can take them off the car is old enough to not have to comply with modern regulations
Meh
Did he say it needs a tune? On a 1980?! Stick to what you know, muffler guy.. 😏
Maybe you should stick to what you know you can tune anything it's just in a different manner on something that's old.
@kskip4242 what? Check the timing and adjust the distributor? Not the same
