OK I need to clarify something for all those high school graduate aspirants who wish to study medicine in USA. First you all need to understand that to become a doctor [Indian equivalent of MBBS] in USA [ we call (MD) Doctor of Medicine or (DO) Doctor of Osteopathic medicine] , one needs to complete 12 years of study. 1) Minimum 4 years of bachelors degree [and there is no such thing called 3 years undergraduate degree in USA period; any one who suggest that there is 3 year course is providing false information] which we call pre med in USA. 2) After completing 4 year bachelor studies [aka pre-med] one has to take MCAT (like NEET in INDIA, note the content of MACT is different from NEET) 3) Once you clear MCAT based on your score, essays, transcript etc. you will get admission to 4 year MD or DO course [MBBS course equivalent]. 3a) After second year of your MD course you need to take USMLE step 1 [Its like BOARD certification & licensing exam : you can think it like CFA/CA/CS exams in INDIA] & after 4 th year you need to pass USMLE step 2 [note there might be some changes relating the timing but by and large it is consistent] 4) After you complete your 4 years of MD /DO and also successfully completing USMLE step 1& 2, based on your clinical preferences , academic transcripts, scores of USMLE 1& 2, personal interviews and other factors you will be matched into 4 years residency program [ you can think this as an internship program , which in India people do it for 1 year only]. 5) After completing 3 to 4 years of residency [Note your residency can be more than 4 years depending upon your specialty, for e.g. check residency.wustl.edu/residencies/length-of-residencies/ ] you will have the license to practice in USA. 6) Now if you want to specialize more in certain areas there are fellowship programs which can last from 1 to 3 years or more depending upon the program. So bottom line in India you all become doctors after 5 years after completing high school, in USA it takes minimum of 11 to 12 years to become a doctor . However if one wants to specialize it will be at least 14 to 15 years and also to become a licensed doctor you have to pass at least 4 competitive exams[MCAT, USMLE1,2, &3]. For US as an out-of-state applicant you need to pay roughly $50,000 each year at most of the public universities. And trust me you need a gpa of 3.7-4.00, and at least a score of 125 on each MCAT section. But MD will pay you well as you'll be earning in six digits after completion, roughly in crores in terms of India

First you will need to prepared for medical college admission test(mcat) before that you need ielts or toelf that is language certifcate,then mcat was knowledge exam its hard for indian because there is sociology,in mcat there is no negative mark but if you want to study in top med college you will need to score 472-500+,the full mark is 528. So,studing mbbs in america is impossible you will need to prepare mcat around 1year cause of diference education system. Study mbbs in indian and continue postgraduate(PG) umsle is the best option. Mcat cannot exam in india but neigbouring country like Philippines can be taken an exam,but umsle can be exam in india. You will need to study hard and work hard.
