I just love the disposition of the south polls. they trot a couple steps out of the trailer and either start walking or sniffing around for something to eat. Usually calves are a little crazy when they come off the trailer and take off running, often through fences and into other people's property. We have a neighbor about two miles away as the crow flies that raises steers on rye grass every year. We usually get one in our herd the first week or so. They have to cross a highway, about three fences and a good sized creek to get to us, haha. And yes he has good fences in good condition, they just a little crazy.
Greg Judy needs some rain he is getting rid of too much livestock. He's lucky he has a great following that are eager to buy his stock. Those are great looking calves you were able to purchase from Greg. Are you able to sell the finish beef out of state or are you confined to selling only within your state's borders?

Yes it’s nice that they’ve been conditioned from birth for a system like ours 😊
How many acres is your farm. How many head of south poll do you have. Thank you.

Right now we only sell in Indiana. We’ll looking into experimenting with shipping.
Would you sell me 3 steers right now?
I missed out on getting them from greg this year..
I like the white face. Is that something a south poll owner can control in the herd. I'm really leaning toward getting some of these for my red Angus
You’ll get some random white faces. We love them just the same. We have maybe 3 with horns in this new group
@@tynerpondfarmer6691 every one of them is beautiful.
Are they all steers?
How many?
What's the average weight?
Yes they are all steers. About 500-550lbs
