Mitch, the epitome of one man’s junk another man’s treasure… Love how he can look at a pile & I mean pile of busted fiberglass parts but see’s a complete car…
Perhaps a reason for the many people stopping and talking with you is that you are quite rare in the hobby/industry...because you KNOW how various technical things were done at the time...also, you show the physical evidence on the parts...and you have solid engineering reasons and skills to accomplish what you want to do...no bluster...just honest KNOWING...
It's great to see you getting so much praise and recognition after all your hard work, as most of us know how video-ing/editing/uploading dramatically increase the time length of any project. Your dedication to your viewers is paying off. I too love the single headlight vettes, but sadly, I am not comfortable in them.... too cramped. You might wanna drive a few before building one, however, I guess you (being you) could always modify one to meet your comfort needs if that's an issue... Fun vid as always, Mitch! A+++++
56-57 all the way baby! There's just no comparison! Of course, my opinion! But yeah, keep workin' on her, for a scratch build, makes sense in every way. Love,,,Dubs
Hi Mitch, 56 for sure, cleaner lines, less bling, the open coves, single headlights, less cluttered front end, but thats just me, whatever you or yor wife decide I'm sure it will turn out beautiful. Really enjoy your channel.
Hey there Mitch, Looks like a major operation getting packed up for Carlisle and setting up! I hope you had a great time. I'll get there some time, maybe in my C6. Side note: it looks like last couple of videos have some interaction between your camera and fluorescent lights in the shop. There is a horizontal moving band of darker hue in the image. Take care, Dan
Mitch it was pleasure for my son and I to meet you Thursday at Carlisle. We have been doing Vetts for a long time. Fortunately we have been able to source bodys with better starting points than you show on your channel. It is great fun to watch your rebuilds. I would definitely go with a 56-57 Corvette Body. Put a lower seat with a longer set back with tilt wheel Roadster Shop frame and go.
It looks like the “hood hold open used on the ‘55 (‘56?) Corvette is the same part used on the ‘55-‘57 Nomads. Just a geeky comment from one interest group to another!
Hi Mitch, hey, you’re selling T-shirts? Where can I buy a large? Also, I would love a sticker for my shop cabinets if you have those. Thanks so much. P.S. I like the 58’ 😊👍🏻
That's alot of stuff! Sorry bud this time I'm with your wife. 1958 was an odd year for Chevy with the Corvette and Impala right in the middle of it. 1958 is the first year of my favorite Corvettes. They are all nice but it starts there. Double headlights are boss. Anybody have any ideas on the proper place to mount the rear deck emblem on a 65? Mine were filled in before I bought it and I forgot to locate them before it was painted. Waaa. Have fun be safe. Great haul thanks for sharing.

I love your content and the way you explain what you are doing, thank you for your love of my favorite car.

Top notch as always !!
Great vid as usual! Enthusiasm makes the difference in your videos! Missed Carlisle again! Darn it! Maybe Spring!

Mitch, I have followed your videos from almost the beginning. I can truly say, that you will someday be a superstar in the Corvette world.

I enjoyed meeting you at Carlisle. I also sent your videos to friends who wanted to better understand the birdcage.

Mitch, I follow you and like what you do. I think you might be in line for a larger facility.
Really enjoy your content. It is excellent. Never owned a C1 or C2. However, C3 and C4s. C2 is on the list. Hopefully someday we will talk.
57 is the most beautiful by far
That 62 cowl came out of Mason City Iowa a year or so ago. I tried to buy it but wasn't fast enough. It will be neat to see you turn it into a car
I prefer the single headlamps and scoops... I'd have to do some type of white blue stripe omage to the Zora racers.

'pretty decent start'...looks at 3 toothpicks and some blue paint. Only mid-year mitch!
both 56 and 57 are absolutely beautiful, but there's something about being able to say...."i own a 57 chevy", so i vote 57
