If i was listening to the radio and wanted to get up and dance on every aong that is where southern would come in at(jukebox channel) and if i wanted to just slow it down and listen to sum music ill just listen to jsu......

Major Music Marching Band Music Arrangements lmaoooo
To be honest I don't think it's the arrangement, it's the players. Example, when Southern plays they play together. Each section plays together as a unit. You can hear the clarity in the trumpet section which means they plays as a section and you also have to teach those fundamentals how to play your horn. Degas just plays...there's no substance to how they play at all.

You can literally put 2 - 3 High Schools together, and they will take out Dega...there is no form of Musicality in their song selections, just blowing and going. Yeah yall can somewhat match Southerns volume but you can't compete at their level. Give them props on the song at 31:00 That's it!!! Go find Tuskegee or Alcorn...that there ain't Whatcha want!!!!

I wish we had those Marching Band Baritones back in the day. They would have been a blast to play! I'm 59 and I still love great Marching Bands and my 8 years (4 as Head Drum Major...HS and College) in Band were some of the best....hell I wish I could still give it a go lol. It didn't hurt matters being in Bands that filled Trophy Cases with Sweepstakes and other contest winning Trophies lol. We never had Battles like this in HS or College, they would have been a lot of fun.

Read the comments before fully listening and I agree now, that Thriller from SU was the nail among several nails in the Dega's coffin . Dega had some joints the Evanescense and the Stevie Wonder but the depth of arrangement is what fights them, that said they will be as great as the energy they brought GOOD SHOW!!
