Each school will require various documents such as a transcript, IELTS test, or maybe a statement of intent. After that wait for your approval. After approval, you will get a letter of acceptance and you can use this to apply for your study permit

Health care isn't free except for a few European countries, I know that some universities will make you pay in their fees insurance that covers illnesses (that's how my university works)

(UBC ended up giving me an offer mid July but I decided not to take it because I already went with UAlberta). Currently waiting on my study permit! Don't remember how long it took, around 4 weeks I think.

Hi Wynn, Thank you for your comment. Specifically, in this video at 1:28 mark, I mention that "students have a higher chance of receiving an invitation to apply for permanent residency." The term "higher chance" means that students are in a better position to get an invitation to apply for PR. I believe the use of this term is accurate as I have backed up this argument with the points table from the CRS. This term is not equivalent to a guaranteed for PR. In actuality, it has the opposite of the intended meaning of guaranteeing PR. I have been consistent with the message that PR is never guaranteed throughout this video and throughout my channel. Please watch other videos as I discuss difficulties with the immigration process. I hope you understand.

First, find the school and program that you meet the entrance requirements. Apply to that school. Each school will require various documents such as a transcript, IELTS test, or maybe a statement of intent. After that wait for your approval. After approval, you will get a letter of acceptance and you can use this to apply for your study permit

Health care isn't free except for a few European countries, I know that some universities will make you pay in their fees insurance that covers illnesses (that's how my university works)
Hey there! I've applied to 3 universities so far - UBC, Simon Fraser and Alberta. I think I have a pretty solid application for all three, but I still feel really anxious. Is it common not to receive a single acceptance letter if you've applied to 3+ unis? And thank you for the amazing vid!
@@halli2078 hey there! I got rejected from Simon Fraser, accept into UAlberta and waitlisted by UBC. (UBC ended up giving me an offer mid July but I decided not to take it because I already went with UAlberta). Currently waiting on my study permit! Don't remember how long it took, around 4 weeks I think.

I think you should clarify that PR is not 100% guaranteed just because you enroll yourself in a Canadian college or university.

Thank you for your comment. Specifically, in this video at 1:28 mark, I mention that "students have a higher chance of receiving an invitation to apply for permanent residency." The term "higher chance" means that students are in a better position to get an invitation to apply for PR. I believe the use of this term is accurate as I have backed up this argument with the points table from the CRS. This term is not equivalent to a guaranteed for PR. In actuality, it has the opposite of the intended meaning of guaranteeing PR.
I have been consistent with the message that PR is never guaranteed throughout this video and throughout my channel. Please watch other videos as I discuss difficulties with the immigration process.
