I've been doing research since 2022 and I'm now at the point of re-applying to a school -- Got into Lethbridge College for Fall 2023 but my education loan came through a little too late -- Anyways, this is certainly a learning process, I'll tell you that. Hi Rachel, I am an international student at University of Waterloo. I have come for my masters with above 3 years of work experience back in India. My total duration of the course is 16 months but I want to finish it in 1 year to save costs. I believe in this situation I will get only 1 year of PGWP, hence I want to apply for my PR as soon as I complete my masters. I calculated my CRS score is coming out as 502. Can I apply for PR under FSW category as I have 3 years of foreign work experience back in India? I think if I go through the CEC path I need 1 year of Canadian work experience and it will be too late for me.

Hi mam .. i have a question regarding my study permit canada .. so in my case my father dont earn as he is retired now from last 3 yrs because of the age and health as he is 68 .. so in my family i earn my mom and my wife earns .. so is it fine to make my wife and mom as a financial supporter and on the top of that i do also have savings.. in my sop i can clearly mention about my father that he is retired and giving helping hand to his wife is this right.. can i do it ?? And in total my wife and my mom earns around 9 lacks( in indian rupees) and if i add mine then it goes to 14 lacks per year ?? Plz help

Hello can you please confirm if sds requires 1 year tuition fees only as per ircc website or other fees as well such as international surcharge, academic fee, health plan etc?
Is it true that reapplications (after being refused), even if applying thru the student direct stream, do not follow a prescribed processing timeframe?
I have a friend whose reapplication does not have a decision yet, and it’s already about 3 months since she submitted her application.
