I've always wanted a Bourgeois dreadnaught. I got a Collings D2H last year and I love it, but there's just something about Bourgeois guitars. My dad's friend who passed away gave my dad his Bourgeois OM in his will. He did not take care of it at all. Left it in his car in the winter and it's cracked and has awesome wear and tear. With all that wear, it still sounds absolutely incredible. Hopefully I'll be able to add one to the roster some day
Am I the only one that was clinching my jaw at the end when he was showing that maple guitar and sort of flailing around with it? I kept seeing those metal hooks behind him and was afraid that he might accidentally hit the hooks or the 2X4. That made me real nervous. I've accidentally dinged some of the ones I build while trying to be very careful. The finish team was probably getting ready to do a touch up. 🙂
I own a Vintage-D Bourgeois guitar, it is one of the most beautiful guitars 🎸 I've seen, sounds amazing, Dana builds some of the best guitars, the craftsmanship and attention to detail are what makes these guitars so special, watching this you realize all the work that goes into building a guitar 🎸 love these videos, thanks for sharing.
I just got hold of my second Bourgeois from Reno's yesterday....an amazing Aged Tone OMS with an Italian spruce top and sinker mahogany back and sides and so this is how it was made! Very impressive. I'm not worthy however thank you Universe and you amazing people at Bourgeois!
It's truly remarkable regarding how much is involved in building a single guitar. Makes you appreciate the instruments even more after watching this. Such detail and effort! I hope to one day own a Bourgeois!
