Amazing! I grew up in London, Ontario not far from St. Thomas. Marc has been among the most beloved luthiers in the region for my entire lifetime, and probably longer. Nice choice of music, too-that was definitely Don Ross's "First Ride" as the connecting music. I heard him Home Country back while I was in high school, a year or two before I started playing it. He had a Beneteau even then. I think "First Ride" might have been the first thing I've ever heard played on a Beneteau.

That's a sweet setup , I may borrow that idea of a long belt sander you've constructed . Nice work 👏

MARK HOW AWESOME THAT YOU GET TO USE A TOOL THAT YOUR DAD BUILT WITH LOVE FOR YOU. I LOVE YOUR GUITARS, YOU ARE A GREAT BUILDER BUT THE HIGHLIGHT OF THIS VIDEO WAS BY FAR THE HOME MADE DRUM SANDER YOUR FATHER BUILT HE MUST REALLY BELIEVE IN YOU, SO COOL.

I had the pleasure of visiting Marc in his shop recently and also the benefit of Marc passing on a little help to me. Great guy and as an amateur woodworker, you cannot help but marvel when in his shop at his innovations and the use of equipment dating back 40+ years that he has adapted or purpose built. You just keep thinking "what a great idea".
Great video Marc, all the best

Marc just crossed your channel.. By the looks of it, I see quality that some of the leading mfrs my not rival! As a serious minded woodworker, kudos!

I thought the armrest bevel was pioneered by Grit Laskin and not Kevin Ryan.
Thanks for the video! Great to see Marc's shop.

Grit did pioneer the armrest bevel in his own style which can be found on Marc's guitars and on almost every Greenfield guitar. Kevin Ryan came up with his own armrest style, shown in this video. Both the same innovation but done differently
