To everyone that can’t read. RAW MATERIALS is in the title. Like chapters in a book. This is why we still need crude oil, it’s not just for combustion engines.
Synthetic oils do exist, but I believe they aren’t as good yet, i could be mistaken, but overall our dependence on oil could very easily be our downfall
Honestly I learnt nothing from this video, how is oil made? No idea, you get deliveries of base oil... Brilliant! Other great videos in this series include "How is tea made"... you get deliveries of tea... "How is chocolate made?"... You get deliveries of chocolate!
Cheers-Good stuff as always! I just got hit by the sledge. Two things. First, I was employed in tank (vessels) business from quote to comission, the works was up in Ellesmere, but I lived in Shrewsbury. And Shrewsbury hit my soul and my heart; I bought my very first Pocket's Tie and went with colleagues to some of the 365 pubs in Shrews regularely after a week of work. I loved it. And then I moved back to my native country of Denmark via Germany, Siberia, South Africa, Iceland, Norway,Sweeden, Finland and a few other. And had oil as a special lube-products for industry, agriculture, automotive and RACING community. I am currently in a pretty boring job now; maybe Morris Lubricants need a local Sales/Tech/Canvas Area Sales Representative with A LOT of experience and the right contacts for both marketing and for building continued sales plus the odd campaign and mess/events (Or maybe a EURO-tour...and a scandinavian tour - without using hundreds of thousands on pretty things not needed! ;-) Always at your service, Mr Martin :-) JAY; I then just might see Shrewsbury again!

That didn't learn me a bloody thing, except their not standing still. How do you make the bloody stuff & why does it cost so much, is what I want to know!
um talking about quality control. I LEARNT NOTHING ABOUT HOW OIL IS MADE EXCEPT FOR. base oil... guy interrupts with questions this needed a re take, with Guy asking more focused questions and showing oils being made,
I feel like Guy is basically interrogating this poor man. lol
the chap is probably enjoying this talk more than talking to a salesperson

GUY is an absolute legend and national treasure.
He's my generations Fred Dibnah.
Everything he does is gold. Mucky, oily gold.

There will be more episodes
@@GenaF the next episode will be how to make children by some northern inbred family.
What we learned here: How oil additive tanks are blue and hold 50,000 liters.
Bit of advice, just do a 45 min documentary there are lots of people interested in this kind of engineering who will sit with a brew and watch.
And the best thing is that’s it totally natural and not running out. Keep pumping oil.
The one person in the world I'd like to meet and have a coffee with is Guy Martin. Top bloke🤘🤘

Used morris high performance engine oils in motorbikes for decades its fantastic quality!
It's very expensive for what you get
A down to earth interview👍
Poor bloke, his big moment and Guy steals the show
Some thing I never thought about just brought the spec I wanted. If I ever get my Honda C200 going will need one of their products.
Great Stuff.
As with many oil manufacturers, it's the same oil, just in different packaging with a couple of additives.
I love your work Guy but sorry, I didn't learn much from that add. You're a legend though
You can tell Guy doesnt really want to do this lol. Just little subtle hints
Next time, the description should be like -
*Adrian Hill* : Morris Lubricants
*Guy Martin* : Balls of Steel - Owner
I could see guy working at Morris
I’ve always wondered,
good old morris the good stuff as my old boss Paul Reynolds used to say from cars to his trials bikes only morris would do
Do they manufacture synthetic oil?
so why uk is not doing more.
I wonder how much this cost Morris

gale banks also made a great video on this and the fact the first synthetic oils in america were not allowed to be called oil LOL
👍🏻
Hah! The SUBTITLES!!!
Guy packed about a 20 minute conversation into 3 minutes.
Why not mention that most, if not all of that base oil is recycled.
Shrews
Never even heard of them lol
Don't touch anything , Guy , and try to make it go faster.
but is WD40 a lubricant?
1:20 Thanks to our lovely government getting loads of quick back handers and giving zero ducks about the future 😡
Is Guy high?
Shilling for the oil industry, that's not cool Guy.
is guy getting paid per word? Lol
So… how is oil made again? Basically told us nothing.
um talking about quality control. I LEARNT NOTHING ABOUT HOW OIL IS MADE EXCEPT FOR. base oil... guy interrupts with questions
this needed a re take, with Guy asking more focused questions and showing oils being made,
just invade another country with escuse of democracy and you have free oil
(USA)

Slippery character!
