Awesome! Yeah.. they didn't make any changes to the infotainment center after I believe 2019 when they also added the review mirror camera option. The older infotainment center had lower resolution, was a little slower, had some different icon graphics, etc. Plus wired only carplay and Android auto :D And for the non ZL1 cars I believe there was a smaller 6" infotainment center option with even less features.
I am looking for a used 2023 ZL1 and I see all the sticker printouts where most have the $495 Infotainment 3 option added and some don't. If it is ordered without, can the newer Cams be used with wireless CarPlay? I don't need the nav feature.
Ahh, gotcha. All of the 2019 or 2020+ have wireless carplay and wireless android auto. The $495 infotainment 3 option must be for the GM nav. So, all 2023 have wirelss carplay without an additiona upgrade or package required.
All of the ZL1's 2019 and up I believe have wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. My 2021 is wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The only $495 option for the radio for 6th gen ZL1' is for the GM navigation. Is that what you are referring to?
Question please: I have a 2018 Zl1 import from US I have nav but it’s not working. It looks like in the car there’s only North American maps. Du you have any idea to wear to get maps for Europe?
Hello! I'm not sure if GM offers something.. Google'ing around I found this, maybe look into this as an option?... www.customtronix.com/products/gm-european-map-sd-card/. I cannot confirm it works as I have not tested it personally but it sounds promising.
I usually use android auto, lol. But I do like the speed limit being integrated into my gauge cluster as well as the nav stuff and everything integrating into the HUD with the car nav. Plus, the nav option is pretty cheap. If it was like $999 I'd have skipped it.
@72breezy my speed does but not the roads speed limit, unless u have the built in car nav. Without the built in nav u don't get certain features with the Hud and cluster.

No problem! It's SIMILAR but not exactly the same as the 2016-2018 Camaros I believe use a USB thumb drive instead of an SD card. You would go to gmnavdisc.navigation.com/product/Catalog/Catalog_Chevrolet_Camaro_2018/GM-NEXT-GENERATION-INFOTAINMENT-2-5-SYSTEM-MAP-UPDATE-V-2023/sku/S23BH20-E0023-2662/en_US/GMNA/USD for the updated maps (currently shows as out of stock though) and once received you would insert the thumb stick into the USB port (similar spot as where I installed the SD card) and you should get a prompt on the screen to update, select yes, and you will see updating in progress for some period of time. Once it completes it will say update complete and you can hit dismiss and the head unit will restart. Once it restarts and comes up completely you can remove the USB drive :D

Just the GM nav... GM nav adds the GM nav in the infotainment screen as well as nav showing in the HUD and speed limit in the gauge cluster.

@@D3RPZILLA your speed limit doesn’t show on the hud while using android auto? What about on the heads up display? It does on mine, I have a 18 model
