You mentioned the experience for Pitaka cases is smooth -> grippy; this is a selling point for me cos most cases either remain smooth or become more slippery. First time I'm using a minimal case (fingers-crossed!) and entering the magsafe ecosystem, excited to see the case in person! Does the case offer any drop protection? I think it is more for looks than protection. How is the magnet? Does it feel strong enough so i can use the ring to hold onto the phone without dropping?
It provides minimal. I’ve dropped my phone on these cases and no scratch. Yes, magnet is strong enough. Keep in mind the MagSafe accessory also has something to do with MagSafe strength, not only the case.
