Good video I got the dbrand case for my s22 ultra after watching your video after a long time ago one of my favorite cases I thought it'd be way too grippy but just to write about a grip and I like the carbon fiber skin stays on there doesn't peel off I dropped my phone around 5 ft one time and it survived the drop

I went with the Blue s24u. And I have a onyx s24 plus debating which one to keep because they are both bangers this year. Yo had me rolling with the skinny jeans and wearing jeans below the waist lmao. That wear pants below the waste makes me wanna slap somebody.
I have this case for my s23u, and I love it. Wished it had mag safe though.

I love dBrand!! I was looking for a MagSafe compatible case, I thought dBrand was skins only I had no idea they did cases let alone MagSafe. I went with the MagBak and I love it!! Seeing this I'm kinda wishing I went dBrand. But anyway I am happy and I'm like you I buy my phones outright, I don't like owing money I like for my belongings to be mine so cases are important. I had to edit this because I saw the shake towards the end, the MagBak will pass any shake test.
Such an amazing case! The only thing i don't like about it is the pill shaped cutout at the top for the cameras
My only complaint is the back of the case scuffs and scratches very easily. I understand it's intended to be covered with a skin, but I actually liked the matte look of just the plain case. Any mag-safe use will immediately leave marks on this case if you use it without the skin.

I mean your not "missing out"... but the phone is off the chain. I was skipping it too when I heard about the colors being washed out. Once it was just about confirmed they are fixing the vivid mode, I copped. The screen is beautiful but I do want my extra saturated colors. It's far from washed out but it is washed out relative to a traditional Samsung screen. They say we'll be able to get s21ultra level vividness, that's crazy and I can't wait.

May I ask what screen protector are you using for your s24u?
Was originally going to go with the dbrand case for my s24 ultra, but went with the Magbak case instead because of the stronger magnets. Magbak did it right where the magnets dont interfer at all with the S-pen because of the shield they have on the back of the case.
How is the case? Also kinda bummed that s24u case is on backorder until March and dbrand case until april
@@spacedcityskater case is amazing. I got it on Feb 5th and haven't taken it off since then. After a few days the texture breaks in and it feels silky smooth yet still grippy. The magnets are great. No problem sticking it on gym equipment and my car mount.

@@Chris-zd2zi I do not have lense protectors installed. I doubt there's room for any. The cut outs are very precise. There's about 0.5mm or less room between the case and the camera cut outs.
Will it hold the weight of the phone in a mag safe car mount?

Nah the one i have is the ESR case and its a VERY STRONG magnet. cant have stuff falling out of the mag, no point of having it otherwise

Its not only on the charger that it messes up with the S pen, it will interfere with the S pen if you have any accessories attached to the mag safe.
New sub because you gave a review to DBrand!!!! I have used DBrand and love them for the last 8-9 years. They are incredible and I buy all their products for our androids and other things.. I will only use them for now on! I don't care what the price is!!!!! I bought my son and me the S24 Ultra's. Both an upgrade for us... We love Samsung. I'm upgrading from the S21 Ultra, son S20 Ultra. New to Magsafe and don't quite understand it. what Magsafe charger are you using? I guess you call them pucks... give a review on Chargers for the S24.. I will give you my " Slipper nice lips...."
At 9:30, is the battery pack partially covering the lowest camera? Seems like it wouldn't matter since this case is flat, but I was hoping to get the ghost case and that has the lip raising above the camera cutout... So that wouldn't work great for rectangular accessories

I pre ordered the Grip for my yellow s24 ultra. While I'm wait for it I bought a Spigen magsafe and put the Toxic Acid skin over it.
case looks great, just seems like it adds a lot of thickness which isn't ideal
How strong are the magnets on the case (like will it stick to the refrigerator without slidingdown)? And is there interference with the S Pen when using other magsafe accessories like a ring/ wallet?
It doesn't stick to the fridge without sliding down. The S-pen functions like normal

I understand why the "mag shake shake" test wasn't done, BUT I have a magnetic phone mount in my work vehicle that I rely on so those tests are vital for me.
Aside from that, great video and great information. Now if Dbrand can just get these in stock and ready for shipment this month I'll be all set!

It's part of Android. You can choose your UI accents as part of the theme. You can choose to let it select a color automatically based on your wallpaper or you can pick a color of your own.

I wish people would stop complaining about the spen and magsafe. This is most likely why samsung doesn't have a magsafe like thing built into the phones. Once they figure it out I am sure samsung will have their version of magsafe. The solution is simple, just remove the accessory if it's causing an issue. Like T said, a magsafe case doesn't affect the spen, it's only when you have a magsafe accessories attached

This is my first magsafe case so I can't really compare it to others, but I can tell you it's strong enough for pretty much any typical use case. It works fine with a pop-socket and the car mount I bought. It also works fine on the magnetic charger I have that supports the phone entirely by the magnet.

People that complain about the weight of a phone and case need to hit the gym 😂. 233 grams for the phone and 57 grams for the case is 290 grams. 1lb is 450 grams so people can’t even hold a pound. 😂
