I would also add that pinning your opponent with your lead hand makes them tense and push against it on instinct. This forward push makes the ensuing right hand even more powerful, their head might inch a bit closer when you're retracting your lead hand. Great breakdown, found this channel today I'm surprised it wasn't suggested to me earlier

Boots is more skilled than bud, he can create more angles and get you in more ways. Naturally, his physical abilities allow him to have more at his disposal. Bud seems to be more cerebral and deliberate with his attacks. You are not going to run from bud, he is going to get you. Bud wants to drop you with his counters, he won't create too much distance with them. Boots counters in more ways but Bud counters in more efficient ways, is what the films currently show. This fight is red dragon vs blue dragon. Two masters with similar skills but with different visions and energies that will make a great fight. Boxing needs this fight!

boots is not more skilled than bud. boots has two weaknesses.
      1. footwork: Boots struggles to cut off the ring with high level oppenents which utililize alot of lateral movement. He tends to switch stances in a reckless, ineffecient or rather pointless manner leaving him off balance and in many bad positions. Bud literally sets traps based on incorrect footwork and positioning mistake.
      2. Telegraphing his punches, lunging, leaping and overextending. If theres one lesson i learnt watching bud fight porter, Jeff horn and errol spence, overextending will leave you on the canvas, fast. Boots was literally lunging at that chukhadzhian guy and leaving his back turnt, are you serious???
the guys talented but put him in the ring with an A level or even B level fighter and you'll see that he got alot to fix up.
